Hi all. Were a family of 3 (40, 40, 8) living in our first home ppr $950kapprox value in an 'undesirable' melb suburb with poor high school options. We are fully offset and we can pay off the mortgage entirely by end of 2025 if we choose.
We have identified the high school we want our son to go to in four years time and the neighbourhood we want to live in to facilitate that but we don't feel ready to go yet. My son loves his current school and would be distraught to leave now. We have a friendly community and we are happy enough for now.
The new suburb is undoubtedly more desirable than ours and very likely to appreciate way quicker than this one so we've got a bit of fear that we'll be priced out if we wait until year 7. We are considering buying a home in the desired area, renting it out for 3-4 years until it's time for high school, then we'll sell our current house and move in.
The mortgage would be large during this time but household income is appx $250k and we could handle it for 3-4 years. Especially if it meant our next step was secured. There's also a couple of additional perks: no time pressure around moving, get some large trees established and small home upgrades done before we arrive.
Any thoughts on this idea? We are financially literate but certainly not experts in property or investment of any form. Thanks heaps.

I made a payment on the 12th and it was posted on the 13th, however my available credit isn't reflecting my payment. Why is that? Why's it taking so long? This has never happened before BUT the amount is quite large. Is that why? Seems weird since I did a bigger payment to another card and that went through without an issue in like two days.

First of all a win is a win and I'm grateful to be back to the title game.The third quarter wasn't great defensively but overall the team held. However does the teams performance specifically on offense concern anyone else? Yes there have been some flashes of greatness over the last 4 or 5 games but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried. Against a granted great Texans defense Mahomes and CO looked outclassed at times, with the O line not holding as well as it needed to and Mahomes just holding the ball at times got me a little concerned. Kelce was for sure a highlight today but I still worry overall a little about the offense ad a whole, specifically if they have enough juice to overcome the explosive plays of either the Bills or Ravens next week. Overall I trust in the team and coaches but I'd like to think they were just holding back a little today. Overall I'd love to see a little more life out of Mahomes specifically on big plays where we need more than just a few yards. Curious to see what yall think, maybe I'm misinformed or just a little salty from not our best performance but let's go Cheifs, I still believe in the 3 peat!
TLDR: Texans played a good game, defence held but does the overall offense concern anyone? Are we just holding punches for the next great offensive team we face in the title round?

i’ve been looking for this film for as long as i can remember. i watched it age 12/13 (and i’m 27 now). stupidly i didn’t pay attention at the time to the title of the film but i hope someone can help me identify it with the minimal information i have/can remember.
- the movie was set in a dolls house which components come to life and move around the house in between the separate short films
- i can specifically remember a baby dolls head being in the house? i know that the shots of the house moving were almost like stop animation.
