On my third grow and have had ALOT of issues. Main issue is plant is burning and trying to eliminate light concers. I am using a 31x31x63 tent w/ 2000w in an unfinshed basement and been advised to get a bigger tent. Here are my questions:
- Instead can I get a less powerful light? However, 1st grow I had to move out since it got to tall.
- Having unfinished basement could I create a make shift light box? Concern is temp and humidity controlled. Live in minnesota 😬

Hello! I’m a 35 year old living on the west coast of the US.
My background is largely in the restaurant industry. I’ve worked every position, but most of it has been bartending and management, as high up as AGM. I’ve done payroll, hiring, ordering, inventory and marketing for various restaurants.
Currently a hairstylist. I enjoy it but it’s really hard on my body and I’m not sure how many years of this I have in me. I’d like to start slowly setting myself up for success so that in 3-5 years I can transition to something a little gentler on my joints.
Other misc work includes event management, receptionist at a salon, educational assistant, freelance editing/copy writing.
BS in business admin, minor in marketing.
I finished my degree online during the pandemic and was unable to find any internships at that time due to Covid. (Also online was not my best choice. It limited my options for networking and exploring more career fields. Live and learn!)
Soft skills: customer service, problem solving, adaptability, empathy, personal organization, time management, interpersonal relationships. I’m comfortable teaching, leading, and public speaking. I’m creative and artistic but not in a graphic design way.
Hard skills: outlook, excel, Google sheets/drive, editing, proofreading, copywriting, some social media management
Currently learning some basic HTML/CSS and I’m really enjoying it! SQL seems interesting so I’ll probably try that next. I’m willing to work on extra certifications, take additional classes, or even pursue a masters degree if necessary in this timeline.
Want: 75k+ starting salary, good benefit package, room to grow and increase that salary with time. Comfortable with any mix of in office/hybrid/remote. Im especially happy to be in office if it’s a more creative, upbeat environment, but in general I have no strong preference on that. I enjoy being challenged a little - a job in which that tasks vary a bit or come with some challenge would be ideal.
Don’t want: A job that involves a ton of phone time. Anything primarily customer facing. Some is fine, but I’ve done my time and need to change gears away from anything that feels like customer service. An overly stuffy, conservative environment. I have pink in my hair, and visible tattoos. I also dress and conduct myself very professionally. I’d like to be able to retain my creative appearance. No child-oriented jobs.
With all that said: do you have any advice on what direction I go next? Industries to pursue, certifications to acquire? Is there an adults version of “career day” so I can see what different industries are like?
What does one do when they don’t know what they want to do?

2025.01.19 06:09 Impressive_Salt_4268 Anyone that’s part of the glitch having mohela issues as well?
I went online because I was going to print my husband’s tax stuff out for our student loans and mohela is saying he doesn’t have an account. This is the correct mohela/studentaid website because I have it bookmarked for when I go on it and has worked before. I then went to studentaid.gov and got the alert that says “you currently don’t have any federal loans or grant”.
Has anyone had issues with both mohela and studentaid.gov being messed up?

 | My screen turns pure black whenever I finish fighting the crazed Cradle with Luna Oblivion in the final boss in the recent storyline event, the background game sound is still there and I'm pretty much stuck, I tried waiting for 4 minutes long but nothing happened. Where I’m from soccefootball isn’t a very popular sport, but I’d like to get into it. Today I saw a team called Brentford which is also my pug, Brent’s nickname. I rooted for them in the Arsenal and NF games I saw on peacock and they lost. But it’s no fun jumping on an already full bandwagon anyway. I have been dealing with issues in handling stress lately. I struggle to often understand my own emotions, and whether I’m miserable or crossing a line for myself, or if I’m fine. For example pushing my energy past its breaking point because “I’m fine I still have energy I’m only a little tired” or not realizing I’m sad or upset until I have a breakdown.
My emotional issues started with 1 year ago exactly, when my ex boyfriend broke up with me out of nowhere. It really destroyed me and made me gain some trust issues. I ended up dating this guy a few months later and we’ve been together for a while now, I’d say somewhere around 7-8 months. He’s great but has a lot of anxiety himself.
I’ve felt somewhat “changed” since that guy broke up with me. I noticed I’m anxious more, depressed to a point I can’t functionally get my schoolwork done. I often find myself questioning my worth and if life is even a good thing, or if we all just suffer. The only thing I can find the good in in life currently is the love I feel from my family and friends. But I fear it disappearing as well, just generally. I drink a LOT to feel better. Which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. I just generally lost my love of life, I feel purposeless.
I told this to my doctor and she prescribed me lexapro. My mom would freak the fuck out of she knew I was considering taking it. She feels that lexapro would give me dementia and make me have seizures and be suicidal etc etc. Her words make me really nervous. I’ve also heard of things like weight gain (I have never gained weight in my life I am very skinny and fear getting bigger) and headaches and anxiety. Do I really even need this medication? I don’t get worked up anxious easily though I do feel constantly stressed and down. Doesn’t everyone go through periods of blue in their life? Isn’t there other ways to deal with it?
I was prescribed 5 mg. The point is to use it for my stress management while I try to learn how to not avoid stress and deal with it better (doing so in therapy). I fear trying it. But if it also can help me manage my constant low grade stress … I’m really not sure. Any advice or insights are really appreciated.
