My lab partner in college is cute as hell, but idk if he's just being like a friendly straight bro, or is bi and flirting with me.
Aside from just being friendly, he seems to be kinda teetering the line, at least from what im used to seeing in straight dudes.
-He gets very close to me when we're working togethehelping each other in class. He was helping me set up the school wifi (which i didnt even ask him to do, i was just talking about having trouble) and instead of sliding the laptop over to him, he leans over me and is touching me with his legs and shoulders. Idk if it was just me, but the tension was >>>>>
-He's doing things that seem like playful flirting. Asking me if he looks good in those enourmous lab goggles or lightly roasting me when we're doing labs
-He always greets me and says goodbye, waves me off when he sees me from his car. And i'm the only person he talks to in our class, even though he comes off as confident, not shy, fairly talkative.
But he also has done a few things that make me doubt it a little bit. The main this was he was telling me about how he got a girl's number (was bringing it up bc she has the same name as his ex and thought it was funny). He could be bi, but why would he tell me about a girl if he was into me?
What do yall think 🧐

I am a girls basketball player, except right now I am injured and done for the season due to a severe ankle injury. (I have 2 complete and 1 partially torn ligaments, a split tendon and lots of hairline fractures in my left ankle.) I injured it at 6am practice the last day of school before Christmas break, (Dec 20th, 2024) and before practice had started I was shooting at one of the hoops with a teammate of mine and I had told her how I just had a gut feeling that something bad was going to happen. I had woken up that morning with that same feeling, I just didn’t why I felt that way. Well then, at about 7am I damaged my ankle.

Been trying to find a case I saw a while back. For the life of me I can’t figure out where it is, trying to see if anyone remembers this.
It was an older man that had a couple repeatedly coming to his house and stealing. So he set up a camera and lay in wait in his basement where he shot and killed both of them while taunting them the whole time.

2025.01.19 06:10 OneRemaining808 Searching for Full Resolution (A13 test)
 | With all the discussion of the Full Resolution feature added to Android 15 (and whether it is in fact doing anything at all), it got me searching once again for any apps that ran at full resolution on this machine or ways to figure out if they are. Mostly since this is by far the best screen I own so it'd be great to get to fully utilise it. For the most part all I'd seen in terms of getting definitive proof revolved around using Youtube's Stats For Nerds to get the viewport readout but it wasn't really working for me, only getting 420p/480p reported, so I went looking for something else - particularly if there were any solutions that could test any arbitrary app you were running (though I was unable to find such a thing). Now it was a struggle to find any test patterns that fit the 21:9 ratio of the screen, but I did come across Pierre Henry's 2160p test pattern which has the correct horizontal resolution along with some single-pixel textures to truly test the displayed resolution, and since most players/galleries let you double tap to fill-zoom it seemed sufficient enough to test with. So, the test: Open up this video, then use Android 13's full-resolution screenshots to peep on the pixel patterns to determine whether the video was really playing at full resolution or not, across a number of different players and galleries. Pretty straightforward to start with, but then it got me wondering whether there might be some kind of different render resolutions at play for the capture to be drawing from instead, so the only real test would be to get up close for the optical results. I set up a camera on a tripod to take a photo of the screen through a magnifying glass (pictured above) while running the video again, then also took one of the pixel-perfect screenshots I ended up with (also included above) and ran it through the same apps to see whether there was any difference in displaying an image versus a video. The results were rather interesting, especially later ending up in a discussion where it was insisted that no app could run at full resolution, but I'm quite certain that the results show otherwise. Also just to note, for the sake of keeping the image size down the photo crops were scaled down to something like 66% (can't quite remember now), while the screenshots were scaled up 300% to get them a similar size for easier viewing. No idea what it'll end up like after any reddit compression so fingers crossed everything's ok on the other side. What have we got here then? There were a few little eccentricities to deal with, eg Simple Gallery didn't let you fill-zoom so I just had to pinch-zoom and eyeball it as best I could, but I still think it's pretty clear it's not running at full resolution. Google Photos seems slightly off but I think that was because the video wasn't properly aligned vertically, hence getting that weird half-tone on the horizontal lines. Then VLC and Sony Album are both cut off because I couldn't pan the video vertically after zooming, but you could still see the patterns so it wasn't that big a deal. Mainly though, it seems quite clear to me that Google Photos, VLC and Sony Album can all run video at 3840x1644, while only Sony Album will display images the same. Anything else and it's running at a lower resolution. My next question then would be what happens when you repeat this test on A14, and then on each of A15's two resolution modes. Sadly not entirely repeatable with the full resolution screenshots still MIA on those two as far as I'm aware. But then also why is it that most apps aren't running at full resolution? Or why is it believed that they can't? Or if they shouldn't, how are these ones doing it? Anyone? Bueller? Also I'm wondering why is it that single screenshots capture at 1644 but long captures are only 1096, that feels somewhat related too.
