2025.01.19 07:16 Deep-Dependent-do Zones and Overtraining as a commuter
So I've tried to do some research but haven't found a clear answer, so apologies if it's a noob question
Been commuting 28 km daily since about 2 years, moved job 8 months ago, upped to 32 k with hills. Recently got a garmin chest strap. According to this I'm at average 155bpm during these rides, at 33 years old. It feels hard. Then I also do some more short rides to go to the gym abd workout during the weekend, sometimes during the week too.
155 is apparently zone 3. I usually go hard and mostly couldn't hold a convo during and at hills I get to zone 4 at 170-75bpm.
Am I overtraining? I have a demanding job (mentally) and do nightshifts and have two young toddlers, so the tiredness and sleep issues I have could be from that. Any advice? Thanks Tldr 150 -175km/week, 80% at zone 3, am I overtraining? Is it really zone 3?

2025.01.19 07:16 Frequent-Dance6899 Why is it when my boyfriend makes me upset I then want to make him upset to get back at him but then feel bad about it afterward and wanna be all over him?
I (27F) am with my boyfriend (27M) for a little over a year. We usually are great and get along so well, however I notice that when he does/says something that makes me upset, I in turn want to make him upset to then have him upset at me and I spend my time trying to make it up to him. Then everything is good until it happens again. And tbh sometimes it’s happens for no reason on his part. I will be irritated or upset and then want physical and emotional distance from him to then long to be around him again.
I don’t even realize I’m doing it. I just know I’m irritated or upset but can never express why. Like I want to be away from him or have him pull away to then chase for that affection and love again. I’m not sure why but I would love some advice on how to work on this because I truly love my boyfriend.
If anyone has any suggestions or insight on why I do this would be greatly appreciated!

I’m sorry but if the US government can’t even tell you what those “drones” are/doing, what makes you guys think they would let a video of a top secret NHI spacecraft that they have in their possession be leaked by a whistleblower to the the public?
This is either a sham or a really shitty disclosure process. Isn’t the point of the disclosure to make people believe? I think this “faucet drip” process is not the way to go about it anymore. Tonight’s public reaction to the egg video is a prime example that the process either needs to speed up or the government just needs to come out and spill the beans already.
How many more years of leaks is it going to take before this whole thing becomes a laughing stock and no one takes it seriously anymore? You can definitely feel a shift after tonight just seeing how everyone reacted to that video and it’s not good sign to the government if you are trying to make people believe in the topic.
At this rate I’m not interested in anything these whistleblowers have to say/show. If it’s not official documentation being presented by higher up government officials, count me out. The goalpost keeps moving and it’s just exhausting to keep up at this point.

I've just had my first session of Drakkenheim and it went really well! However, I am a little concerned about 2 party members in particular.
One of them (Paladin) is heavily against the use of Delerium due their father becoming infected by it. The other is a wizard who left the Amethyst Academy and the play has expressed an interest in eventually becoming a malfeasant wizard after experimenting with Delerium.
Does anyone have any advice or anecdotes on conflict within their groups?

I am currently looking at buying this 5th wheel for full time living.

I have lived in my current travel trailer for 2 years, and am looking at getting something bigger. I know how to take care of them, and the maintenance required.
I also know that buying a pre 2020 model is preferable. Unfortunately not really an option for me. My credit isn't spectacular, and as 5th wheels gold considerable value here they are about on par with a new one, and I don't qualify for a loan on a used one. They hold their value really well, until you talk to a bank. And then they don't and are a bigger loan risk.
Anyway, it's something I am looking at living in for the next 5-10 years. I am single, with 2 cats. Plenty of room. Talking to the dealership, and my own research it is an aluminum frame, one piece roof, vaccuum bonded walls. They are including towing and setup as for free, being an existing customer of their car dealership.
Anyone have any experience with forest river, and the quality?

I live in one the apartment buildings on Alexander St and am honestly really getting so over the suspicious activity that goes on in our apartment lot, always in the dead of night. Just moments ago, a group of people yelling, screaming, another construction vehicle (possibly stolen), driving circles around the lot and honking, and the other two cars following suit. Within the past year alone, there have been two incidents of multiple vehicle windows being smashed, mine included. When noises like this wake me up at 2 AM I’m on high alert, worried my car window will be smashed again, lol. Seriously though, considering moving out of downtown once my lease is up, for this reason. I love the city, but is it even worth it anymore?

I have never told a soul about this, partly due to the reason that I never even realised until later in my life. When I was around 5-7 years old, my cousin who is 4 years older than me, did things to me sexually.
This is really hard and uncomfortable for me to spell out so Ill try to keep the details to a minimum. All I remember is him telling me he wanted to play the “willy game” where we would play with eachothers parts and butt. I don’t think there was any penetration and I think it happened only once. However, years later when he was in his mid-teens and I was around 10-11, he mentioned the willy game and I told him I don’t want to do that. Thankfully he never did it or mentioned it ever again.
This gets more problematic because throughout all my life, apart from that incident, he was always good to me and we have been pretty close. As an adult he seems to be a great person who is respected by everyone, including me for some reason. He’s doing great in life and is successful and I don’t want to ruin his or our family’s lives by telling anyone about it.
I also have been through more sexual-related trauma in my life. When I was 15 my gf accused me of rape after we had sex. I will say that I did make a mistake by not asking her before I attempted to do something during sex but I did not continue anything when she said stop. I was 15 and had no idea what I was doing in bed and I feel so much shame about it. That situation ruined my life and destroyed my reputation and I have been living in near total isolation for the 3 years since it happened. I was told I would be beaten if I was seen in public and someone recorded me being punched after a confrontation (where I was drunk and unable to defend myself).
I am so confused by everything and I’m struggling to live with all this. What the fuck do I do?
