I wanted to clarify this to say that even if the Internet Box is far from the PC this is not important because you are connected to the internet via ethernet and not in Wi-Fi. That 50 meter network cable seems to me an excessive length even if theoretically lengths up to 100 meters should be supported. Hi, yes it's an ethernet cable from the router into the PC. All wireless devices work fine, and the other PC that has an ethernet line from the router connects fine using the same cable and port. I've tried resetting the router, changing the cable, and checking if my ISP is working on the line/there are any issues. Everything is working fine. Hello, Please try these steps: 1. Open Device Manager. 2. Locate your network adapter, right click and select Properties. Since upgrading my operating system from windows 10 to windows 11, my ethernet cable is not being detected by windows unless I restart the driver every time I boot the computer. I have tried running the trouble-shooter, uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, performing a network reset, trying a different port on my router and even doing a ... Hi! In Control Panel, under Network Connections (type Control Panel\\All Control Panel Items\\Network Connections into the "address bar" in Control Panel), I have three devices listed. One is my WiFi, First, try to connect the Ethernet cable using other device for us to check if the issue is with the computer or the Ethernet cable itself. if it does the same using other device means that Ethernet cable is faulty. If the Ethernet works using other device proceed wiht the steps below. -Press Windows key + X -Go to Settings Mostly I use wifi for internet but recently I want to use LAN (wired) connection for internet but it is not working. then i recoginze there was no ethernet option in network and internet settings, i updated drivers of realtek ethernet which was suggested by support assistant of dell and it is installed but that was not showing in my device manager. 10) Try plugging in by ethernet cable to the router to compare, then plug the ethernet cable into the modem (if separate) to see if this might be an issue with the router. 11) Try powering off modem, router and PC and then restarting in that order with 1 minute in between each. 1- Make sure that the Ethernet cable is connected to one of the 4 LAN ports on your router (not the WAN port.) 2- Restart the router: (1) power off the router; (2) count to 30 - allows all the electricity to drain from the router - (3) power on the router; (4) give the router 2 minutes to set itself up; (5) restart your computer. Check closely and replace the ethernet cable. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. So recently I have been sick of gaming on wifi and want to switch to Ethernet. We have a central modem which we pay for which is upstairs in my living room. It is hybrid so it acts as a router and modem I don’t have any other router it’s just that box. Every room in my house has the Ethernet ports and I need help on understanding how I can set it up I am not able to run a big cable or move the modem. Can someone simply explain and help me.

New user quest- hi all, I’ve just ordered a sous vide stick thingy. I had someone donate a stockpot to me today and thanks to someone on this community I ordered a lily pad silicone lid which hopefully I can cut a hole in. I’m still working myself up over the whole safe plastic use in cooking so please don’t be too hard on me. I hope to use mason jars to cook yoghurt in. What other foods apart from desserts can you cook in jars with the sous vide? Thanks I’m advance for helping a newbie out.

Hi everyone. I keep having nightmares every night and sometimes I wake up during or after an accident. I have never had this issue as a child. I have had urinary urge incontinence/OAB for a little over a year now, but normally it does not happen when I'm sleeping.
It happened last night and I did laudnry. I have these blue sheets for my bed to protect it but sometimes it move around so I have to change my bedding anyway.
This happens often but not usually when I was nervous/scared. Is that maybe what is helping this happen to me?
How do you guys handle this. 24f for reference 😭
