 | THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL QUESTION. Just asking about the way I’m being spoken to. My friend is very anti-Trump and I have always supported her. However, she is an extremist about it. She is saying how Americans are stupid and dumb for not trying to protest or overthrow the government. I told her, I understand her frustration but overthrowing the government is not a plausible solution and that we just have to “ride it out”- which is where she got triggered. I have not once stated I like the guy or support him, I’m just saying there’s nothing we can do since the majority of the country literally elected him, it was a democracy. Am I happy no? But I also don’t go around berating people who support him nor is it any of my business. All I told her was that there literally is no option but to ride out the next 4 years but if she wants to peacefully protest I support her and she begins getting very hostile with me. I provided the messages too. I really don’t think I said anything hurtful it’s just the reality? BTW these aren’t all the messages it’s too much to fit. But she has insulted me, stated i’m ignorant and don’t understand when I am literally empathizing, cursing at me, and just being very hostile/ I can’t even have a discussion with someone who gets this way. Thanks to the gifted flares I managed to get everyone I did not have that was available, with 510 flares remaining. Is it worth doing anything with those last flares? I saw it mentioned that all characters will be maxed in the offline version, so I guess the only reason to MBT anyone now is basically for bragging rights, at least to yourself.
I was gone a while because logging in stopped working for me, so I came back to at least have the offline memorial when it closes. Doesn't seem like much point in doing anything now though, like daily quests or the Returner stuff.

2025.01.19 09:09 thegelatoking Fire tv cube and echo studio combo just started having trouble with Alexa intermittently not speaking through the echo studio anymore.
This issue literally just started a few days ago. I have a fire cube and one echo studio set up as a home theater group for my tv. When I watch tv the echo studio plays all the audio. When I say “Alexa” it activates the cube to light up but the voice will not come out of the echo studio sometimes.
A few days ago the Alexa voice will intermittently not play out of the echo studio. It’s completely random, I can ask Alexa the same question multiple times and sometimes it will play the response and sometimes it won’t.
When the issue happens, The cube will activate and flash to acknowledge me saying “Alexa” but Alexa will not respond. I’ll add that this happens whether the tv is on or off…when the tv is on, the movie audio plays out of the echo studio just fine but Alexa just doesn’t speak. Usually When Alexa is working and a video was playing, Alexa gets activated and it dampens the video audio while alexa talks. Alexa app’s voice history shows the response Alexa gives and everything…just the physical Alexa voice does not come out of the speaker.
I’ve factory reset the fire cube, unpaired and paired the echo studio, removed the home theater group and redid it, checked the Alexa apps voice history and nothing seems to fix it. Fire cube and Alexa work fine when it’s not paired echo studio; in this scenario the fire cube’s internal speaker speaks.
Is anyone else experiencing this and successfully fixed it?
