2025.01.19 12:19 Dtm_Enthusiast My thoughts on the game from just one play session
Its a promising game, i have to say. It doesnt seem like they intentionally cut corners, although i see some issues (minor or major) within the game. Some which i will mention here.
-Content is pretty limited (understandable due to beta state) -The sounds feel terrible to me and need a full overhaul by full release -The cars seem to loose control too easily and are almost impossible to recover from countersteering. It feels like its very front balanced by the brake bias, especially with heavier vehicles like the A290. The steering is also too sensitive -The vehicular assists dont seem to be changeable now and i think the reason for that is to help cover up tue flawed physics of the game which sucks because i usually dont play with any assists other than abs (none if the car doesnt have it stock) -The game seems to have issues binding controls on the menu even though the already binded keys and the controller work excellent -Some of the car models definetly reflect the "beta" structure. The wheels literally shapeshift right infront of your eyes once the rolling speed is over. The outside looks decent but i couldnt explore the inside due to bindings

2025.01.19 12:19 Live-Good1625 CS2 keeps on crashing - what can I do? HELP ME!
Hi guys & girls,
I have an annoying problem with cs2. It keeps crashing every single game. Sometimes up until 8 times during a competitive game.
The thing is, one year ago (when I started playing), it never crashed. Kept playing without any problem. Also, during my game play, it runs smoothly with a good fps on decent graphic settings.
My computer knowledge is 3/10, but have tried everything within my reach. Cleaned the computer, changed settings, put an extra fan on my desktop, re-installed the game, etc. Nothing helped.
My hardware; Inter(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU @ 2,8GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
I was wondering whether someone knows the key to the solution?

2025.01.19 12:19 lewis56500 How did people say ‘thank you’ in English before the informal thee, thy, and thou were dropped?
So I’m aware of the fact that the informal version of ‘you’ was dropped in English around the 17th century. I was wondering therefore how you would say ‘thank you’ to your partner, friends, children, etc. — since using ‘you’ would I assume be weird.
Was unsure where to post this (I’m a native speaker) so just went with here but if there’s a better sub let me know :)

Hey all. I'm about to do the first oil change on a new (to me) grand caravan. I picked up an oil filter at Walmart, grabbed the correct filter wrench out of my tool box, only to discover the filter on the van is far skinnier than the one I purchased based on the filter lookup. I also discovered the plug is rounded off 😭. So, a few days later I went to napa, and asked for a filter. The one they gave me was also the bigger one. I asked about the filter numbers for different motors in the vans, and both versions came up with the same filter type. So, is this just a deal where the smaller filter was replaced with a bigger one over time, or have I gotten the wrong filter? It just strikes me as odd that the old filter is so much smaller, that it needs a different wrench.

2025.01.19 12:19 EngineeringEasy3393 I take classes 3-4 days per week with intense full body workouts. What to do other days?
I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say the gym name but it is workouts that vary between building intensity, all out effort and the burning grind. Each day is different; each workout is different and only repeats every 6 weeks. The goal is functional strength. It is low impact and no treadmills but cardio through intensity, boxing, ski machines, sliders, rowing etc.
Since I do these 3-4 times per week and it is a full body workout, what should I be supplementing at home? If I do a high intensity workout, just do some weights? Pick specific areas to work out vs the full body? Should I do steady state cardio? I’m honestly not the best at stretching so that could be an active recovery thing I should do.
I don’t want to burn myself out or impact gains. My goal is tone up and build lean muscle, sort of like a volleyball player physique. I don’t really have a lot of fat to lose, just tone and build.

Hi
Just took delivery on Tuesday of
Hyundai Tucson 2020 20k Diesel MHEV 7spd DCT
Was driving on the motorway earlier and went to overtake. Was doing about 60mph so went to accelerate to 70. RPM shot up but the car didn’t pick up any speed.
Pulled off at the next junction, car was going up and down the gears without issue but wouldn’t accelerate properly. It would accelerate but was hitting high revs. So I was moving but not at the force I would expect.
Thankfully wasn’t far from home so on the way back was accelerating and braking and accelerating and it all seemed to be fine again.
Is this a sign of something on its way out or a quirk of these DCT boxes or indeed something completely different?
Any ideas would be grateful as I’m considering whether to reject it or ask them to diagnose and fix
