So I am looking at upgrading to a 5080 series.. I am concerned about the width of the card hitting my glass. So I am considering a vertical mount.
I have a newer build it is pci-e 5.0 capable. However, my question is.. will i need a PCI-E 5.0 riser cable? Or will a 4.0 capable riser cable simply run 5.0 through it? If I do indeed need a 5.0 riser cable could someone please link a reputable one that is legit 5.0
I cannot seem to find a definitive answer on this anywhere, I appreciate the help.

2025.01.19 09:20 dingdongwashboard Can anything be done if my employer who hasn't paid my super can't afford to pay my super?
I used to work at a bar in Marrickville which recently closed down just today. They owe me 2k+ in super and other employees even more, probably totaling well over 15k all up. They also didn't pay my wages at the correct award rate but I've come to understand there's legally not much that can be done about that now. What happens now if my employer can't afford to pay this super? Does it just get brushed under the table and forgotten about? I understand 2k isn't particularly a lot of money for most people, but to me, it's more so just disheartening knowing how much work we had to do compared to our boss, and we'll now lose plenty of the money that rightfully belongs to us. I'd find some solace in knowing my employer legally is unable to open a new restaurant ever again, but I don't know what legally happens on his side after an investigation from the ATO.

Hello everyone, just wanted to rant abt college because I feel lost. I am currently a spanish major but is bc I got rejected to Biology bc i needed Calculus 1 to be able to transfer. I attended college and took calc 1 so i can change my major, however I noticed and realized that I don’t enjoy math. I get the concepts and etc but i don’t enjoy math that much. So i decided to go into Anthropology (it is my interest) and did my petition to change my major from Spanish to Anthro for Summer 2025. I am currently in the pre-dental path and i feel like a black sheep being a “Spanish” major while everyone is STEM or Public Health/Nutrition and I kinda wanna go back to biology but I don’t wanna take Calc 2. I am also leaning a little for Nutrition or Public Health as it seems reasonable being in that major and doing pre-dental track. I don’t know what to choice, go to biology, anthropology, nutrition, or public health. Also what sucks is that i can’t really change my major to bio because I already taking a Stats class for dental pre-req so if i get into bio i will be taking Calc 2 and afterwards a Stats class for science and i see that kinda like a waste :/. Anyway that was all i am feeling lost and i am scared to graduate and dislike my major or have regrets.

 | So, I've decided to make a temperature snake for 2025. I taught myself to crochet last year, and absolutely love it, so seeing that this year is the year of the snake, I thought it would be fitting. However, I HAVE A CONUNDRUM. I live in Australia, and I find it quite hard to get access to plush yarn. Lots of suppliers are overseas, and shipping is really expensive, and the one that I get here from Spotlight (my local craft store) only has a few colours. I know I can get premier plush yarn from amazon, but it is quite expensive so I need to wait for it to go on sale So, should I just start my snake with acrylic yarn (which I have access to, including a wide range of colours), or should I wait for the amazon yarn to go on sale? Hi all
I’m trying to see if midjourney or any other ai can help with marketing my sign company.
I’m a one man band so i need all the help I can get. I want to start marketing on social media and taking images of vans are boring and not very interesting. It’s the same for taking photos of workwear. I’ve asked if I can take images of clients with their workwear on walking to their van etc but customers don’t want to which I get.
Is there anyway (without using photoshop) to take my images and replace the heads with Ai so I get the photo I want without the customer being in it?
Or how can I make midjourney work for my business? I see lots of pretty images but none are suitable to help with promoting your business.

I played PoE for a while, I didn't finish the whole story but I liked the game.
I saw that they have released 2 and I said it would be a new opportunity to start again and not feel frustrated by all the content and experience of other people, since the first one has years of updating.
But I ran into a problem, it's not even for Mac or rather the ARM series.
