I (14F) attend religious schooling that takes place after school. I usually stay till 10:00 PM and all those hours are spent studying and reciting pages of religous script hours on end. The teacher yells and threatens frequently, and often beats on me and the students. Not for valid reasons either, like if I mispronounce a word or forget a part he gets angry and will start to hit you in anyway possible. Once he slammed my head into the desk and my lip spilt open, it was really painful for a month. I'm just happy he didn't knock my teeth out.
I feel like I'm exaggerating because at times he switches up, like he'll act nice or different. Also everyone around me normalizes it so I don't really know how to feel about it. It affects my school work and my physical health too. From reciting for almost 7 hours, my jaw starts to lock and hurt really bad it's excruciating. It's worse than I'm explaining it because I feel guilt even posting this.

I’ve been an active Facebook user since 2010 and have used Instagram for a while. I love them both for the ability to communicate with friends and family. That being said, I’ve deleted them due to the TikTok ban. This was done improperly. If what the government is saying is correct regarding TikTok being dangerous to the country, a uniform set of regulations should’ve been established that requires all social media platforms to adhere to. Facebook has literally sold our data to Russia in the past. I would support that. This isn’t about public safety. I won’t be using META apps or Twitter for the foreseeable future. It’s YouTube, Reddit, and Discord for me.

Hi there,
I got myself a (near) infrared light panel. My idea was to do something against my mitochondrial dysfunction. But stupidly I started with 20 minutes at full power. With some hours delay I felt really bad for days.
Now I am down to 3 - 5 minutes and still feel bad afterwards (fatigue).
I am wondering if I should send it back. Or maybe it shouldn’t be used at all if you have mitochondrial dysfunction ?!
What’s your take on this ?
