To my native ear, that sounds like a nice enough way to say it. To answer your question, I'm not familiar with any well-established counterpart to the "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Christmas" you often hear in the days leading up to Dec 25th. – I'd say "within 7 days" SHOULD mean within 7 x 24 hours from now, so if at noon on Monday I'm told "this is due within 7 days" that would mean by noon of the following Monday. But people often take today to be the first day of the count, so if on Monday someone says "within 3 days" they are thinking day 1=today, Monday; day 2=Tuesday, day 3=Wednesday. Holiday breaks usually consist of more than one day, so when you refer to Christmas you are thinking about Christmas eve, Christmas day and Boxing day (also called ‘St.Stephen's Day’). The Easter holiday is usually made up of two days; Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. N.B. Good Friday is not a public holiday in Italy but it is in the UK. In terms of gender, yes: these days there are many Jills, as well as Jacks, occupying in the bursar's chair. 'At' is more particular, for a smaller place or shorter time, whereas on/in are used for longer durations or larger spaces. The following would all meet the requirement of within 30 days: 1 day, 3.14159265358979... days, 29 days, 29 1/2 days, 29.314159265358979... days. 2025.01.19 13:20 ell93 Nausea has mostly gone at 8-9 weeks?
I know this is asked all the time and I’ve searched posts frantically myself and it almost always ends up being fine but I just wondered if anyone else’s nausea vanished at about 8 weeks? I had a few days feeling fine and it came back, now at 9 weeks I’m feeling fine again. I have the occasional gag at the fridge or off feeling but I’m a completely different person to myself at 6-8 weeks pregnant. I’ve asked the midwife as well and she’s said it’s quite normal. I’ve got a reassurance scan booked for Wednesday just to double check. Anyone else had similar? Did it come back? I don’t actually like being nauseous/feeling hungover all the time but it feels so strange to just feel ‘normal’.

Every single discussion of the News Nation special is packed with constant crap about bots/shills/disinfo agents. There is even a frontpage thread about how "suspicious" the reactions are.
Every single time someone declines to indulge in the purest and most absolute belief, they are dismissed as a bot, shill or troll. Never is it someone with a different view - not possible.
The mods literally made shill/bot accusations against the rules of the sub, but they are so abundant they would need an legion to actually moderate it.
It is completely and utterly asinine.
There was a massively hyped revelation - "overwhelming evidence" - which, shockingly, turned out to be inconclusive at best. Of course people are disappointed and frustrated.
Of all the times to accuse people of being bots/shills/trolls, this is perhaps the worst. The reason for the reaction is painstakingly obvious. It could not be more black and white.
Yes, bots/shills/trolls exist. Always have, always will.
No, that does not make every person who disagrees with you a bot/shill/troll. You are likely just out of touch and coping.

I have an outdoor outlet that was tapped for an additional outlet (up high for string and Christmas lights). The electrician wired in a normal light switch between the outlets. The existing outlet is not switched, just the secondary one. I would like to replace the existing switch with a smart switch, but the switch does not have a neutral. The original outlet is right next to the switch in a 2 gang box. Can I pigtail from the outlet neutral a neutral for a smart switch?
