J'aurais aimé les déplacer pour que les gens évite de les écraser. Elles sont en bas de la porte de mon immeuble dans une résidence privée.. I got the worst possible grades in high school years ago, but I really want to turn my life around and go to university. I’m not directly qualified to enter a university in Germany, I need to attend a Studienkolleg first.
I’m wondering if there are any Studienkollegs known for accepting almost everyone who applies and inviting them to the Aufnahmeprüfung. Is there any list like that? Or if you know any, I’d be really happy if you could share them with me

2025.01.19 10:19 Nessi4u AIO? Bf (30m) tried to argue that he had a harder time than me because I (30f) can afford a house.
In this past year; I had someone die in my hands, that someone had me scared of HIV/HEP exposure for months and then I had a life altering accident. That life altering accident caused a stroke, I had to relearn how to walk, talk and manage life. After the stroke, I mentally was a mess and got mental healthcare in the form of inpatient, PHP and IOP. That helped me a ton but also changed me as a person and was one of the main reasons my ex husband and I divorced.
Flash forward to now, my BF was a friend who was very supportive and helpful while I healed from my stroke. So naturally post divorce, we decided to try things out.
He was originally working on a contract that didn't get extended so he was jobless for 1.5 months, found a part time gig for a couple months and got two nice offers making more than me literally yesterday. During this time, I had him move in with me, helped pay for more items and provided food to save him money. Yes I know being jobless can be horrible but I was there to support him.
As of now I make ok money but here is where the "house money" comes in... with 11 years of service I qualify for the VA loan and have been able to strategically buy houses and sell at a profit. Since I'm divorced, I'm waiting on our joint house to sell where I stand to make 150-200k. Yeah that's better than most people but that's only because I did the time to qualify for a VA loan, saved money to renovate the worse house in the best neighborhood and spent the time fixing the homes. This money didn't come without work.
So here comes the conversation. We were walking with a friend that was like "OP + BF, you have your shit together way more than me, I'm struggling at being normal and feel like I'm worse off than both of yall."
To which my bf responded, "I don't know, being jobless for 3 months is pretty rough, I think I'm struggling more than all of you."
Me trying to be considerate but also checking their privilege, "well at least you haven't tried to kill yourselves this past year."
Then the BF responds with, "But you have that house money, you're doing fine, I can barely afford anything."
I responded with "ok BF" to prevent blowing up but I feel like that invalidated all the help I provided him, my major life struggles this past year, and all the work I did to afford a house. Yeah it may have been abrupt to talk about suicide, and I was a little drunk, but they both literally know what has happened to me in the past year. I'm also not trying to invalidate their experiences but at the end of the day, their experience haven't almost killed them twice.
Before bed he asked if everything was alright. I said no but don't want to talk about it since I have alcohol in my system. He acknowledged and just went to bed.
It's taking all my will power not to wake him up and kick him out now that I'm sober. I have to hear him out but I know he's going to say something along the lines of "oh sorry, I wasn't really thinking when I said that," which is always his excuse when he says stupid things. Idk, I'm tired, its 3am and was drinking a little bit I still feel like I was invalidated.

occasionally Glycolic acid cream (GA-6 cream) Been doing this for over 4 months and I see no difference at all. These were recommended by my dermatologist but It’s only getting worse, the Darkening. What can i change in my routine? Any product recommendations? Im ready to splurge, even korean products.

According to stats Cork is 38th most congested city in the world.
Mind you, it is definitely congested, considering somehow 1 km stretch can take 10 mins...
The question I have is how on earth is Cork more congested than London?
One is a big complex densely populated capital with massive volume of transport. The other is a second largest city of a smaller country.
Is it public transport in London? But the massive volume of cars there would balance it out.
Is it more advanced car infrastructure in London, like those multi-lane adjacent roundabouts?
It just doesn't seem to make much sense...

I live in Buc Ridge and am in the quads. I'm in room B. My roommate moved out between semesters to be an RA. Good for her. Genuinely. I wouldn't be surprised to get a new one, obviously, I know I'm not special, but I'd much rather keep my temp single. My anxiety is coming from the fact that I don't know if/when someone new is moving in. If a new girl comes, I'll happily move my stuff so she has space, but for now it seems dumb to leave half the space empty. I just want to know when the housing portal will say I have a roommate if I'm going to get one.

I can't go into the details (they could be here on this sub, IDK! :P) but I got to know that there will be tech positions that may open up in Sales, Marketing, and HR recruitment divisions at our place. What roles? IDK. Packages? IDK. But negotiations can be made, it seems. For those working in dxta in IT dept, which will be the best place to shift to in the long run? I've not worked in any of these and need to pick up the required skills if I have to. Please suggest.
