"Interested to" is used when what comes after it is a verb in its "to form" (known as an infinitive). This type of sentence usually takes the form of " [Someone] is interested [ to do something]. Interest(ed) towards , however, is a bit tricky. "I'd be interested" is slightly softer and thus more polite. If you say "I'm interested", you're directly stating that you want to know the information. If you say "I'd be interested", what is implied is "I'd be interested IF you were to tell me, which I'm not telling you to do". (You could say I am interested BY history, but it would be unusual and not as idiomatic.) However one might say I was interested BY the way the man was walking or perhaps ...by the way the words were written on the card. You might use 'interested by' to refer to something which had caught your attention. Again one might also say 'interested in'. Or You were interested in the advanced material because it will help you get better regards in English exams? I think both meanings here are different. Look at these example : 1- The subject of the talk was one that interests me greatly. 2- The students were all very interested in the lecture. I think the meaning in both sentences are different. I want to ask my friend about interest in engineering a system. How can I ask him? Do you interest in the system? or Do you interested in the system? Which phrase is correctly used? 9 out of 10 times you should use "interest in." I've heard "interest for" only a few times. The only examples I can think of would be "This credit card account will accumulate 13% interest for the first six months," or "The new discovery holds interest for scientists." The provided answer was B (on a few other websites also) while I chose A and there was no explanation provided. Can somebody please help me out here as I am more convinced that A is better suited here and also I checked if the word interested can take the preposition with but could not find that also. Thank you. Both phrases introduce something which you wish to learn. However, the form interested in knowing is a bit more common that interested to know, which does sound a bit more awkward (at least in my opinion). Another phrase, if you're curious, would be interested in learning. 2025.01.19 11:20 Flamingo-Remarkable Wasted after Meal
Anyone else? I migrated from Concerta to Vyvanse recently, and I'm still trying to find my "range", which I believe is between 25 and 30mg. The thing is, even if I take 50mg, I feel "wasted" for like a whole hour or so after a meal. I'm uncapable even to scroll on my cellphone, when it happens, all I can do is close my eyes and wait for it to somehow go away. I didn't have that on Concerta for instance, and we are not even talking about large meals here, tho, of course, the largedenser the meal, the longer it would take for me to feel "normal" again.

2025.01.19 11:20 Built2kill Happiness / crime death spiral?
So I have a city of 13k and my average happiness has dropped to around 60% (some buildings its averaging 30%) loyalty is 65% and I have 3 small and 1 large police station fully staffed and they can’t keep up with the crime.
I’m trying to figure out if the crime is a result of the low happiness or if the low happiness is a result of the crime / something else.
If I look at the low happiness buildings they all seem like they should be fine, ie 99% sport, food, clothing, culture ect but it still keeps dropping.
Do these stats lie and they aren’t able to get one of the needs they require?

I know there is an option to temporarily (I think it's 60 minutes) share your location with someone, is it possible to temporarily disable location sharing, with one (or more) that you already share with?
The thought struck me, when I was shopping for christmas gifts, that you could potentially see which shops people visited, so a temporary disable would be nice.
