I love wine! And I know that Norway has a small number of vineyards (e.g. Eventyrvin's Lerkekasa vineyard) and so would love to try Norwegian wine when I'm visiting Norway this week. I've been looking at the online menus of some wine bars in Oslo but haven't seen any by the glass or bottle—so hoping this community may be able to recommend me a bar or two in which I could try Norwegian wine? I'm travelling solo; hence the 'by the glass' ask!

I think I’ll be getting a 1099k from PayPal due to Sportsbook withdrawals. They consider any withdrawal “income”, and the net profit is not accounted for. Since they are using a broad stroke approach on the withdrawal, can I offset that by adding up my deposits made through PayPal? For example, if I withdrew a total $30k and deposited $25k, can I write in $25k as an expense or loss?

2025.01.19 14:00 insainlewey2 I have an HDMI question is this the right place? I need to get an HDMI signal from one room to the other, but it’s about 75 feet away.
I have a LG C3 and a modern Yamaha receiver with dual HD I outputs. I've tested to make sure I can output 2xHDMI and it worked with 2x 6ft hdmi. I want to get one aboit 60 feet away but I've been made to understand that it's very difficult to run 4k 60fps more than 50 feet. Anyone successfuly how extended a cable thatlong?

Any body Have any info/pics of it? It appears Les has a new Pachyderm fretted 6. I saw him play it at the NYE show.
At first I thought it was a 4 string tuned BEAD because that neck is THIN. But I knew that couldn't be the case.
He played Holy mackerel and Restin' Bones on it.
I'll miss that CT fretted bass. It was my favorite of his. Just wicked tone. But the new Pachyderm 6 basses do sound HUGE.

Hallo! Ich wohne schon seit vielen Jahren in den USA, komme aber ursprünglich aus Deutschland beziehungsweise aus Hessen. Ich beabsichtige jetzt bald wieder nach Deutschland zu ziehen, hauptsächlich um mich um meine Großeltern zu kümmern aber auch weil ich lieber dort arbeiten würde (ich studiere zur Zeit auf Lehramt). Ich mache mir aber ein bisschen Sorgen, dass ich in Deutschland nicht neue Freunde kennenlernen kann und ich habe leider schon lange nicht mit meinen Freunden von damals gesprochen. Ich habe auch schon die Sprache leider verlernt und ich weiß, dass ich jetzt öfter Fehler mache (dafür ist mein Englisch aber ganz gut). Meine Großeltern meinen aber dass ich die Sprache schnell wiederlernen werde, wenn ich erst mal da bin, da man die eigene Muttersprache eigentlich nicht vergessen kann.
Was meint ihr dazu, werde ich neue Freundschaften schließen können? Sollte ich mir überhaupt darüber Gedanken machen?

I have started as Gandhi and I aim to achieve a teligious victory. However my main problem is that I seem to have the choice between either fall back on religion or fall back on defense. I build 1 scout and 1 warrior. After that I use a settler for a second city.
I have huge problems with barbarians. I assume I should have more defense, but if I do that, I will only get leftovers as religion perks. So I am quite confused and wanted to ask you for advice.
What do you build before you focus on religion? How do you balance that? How many cities do you build and when?

So I have a problem with these huge green Tomato worms in my garden eating my plants, and the method that I'm using now is to go out at night and collect as many of them off the plants as I can and store them in a bucket until I figure out what to do with them
I currently have an electric fly swatter which I have zapped all manner of bugs on, butb never something is gigantic as this caterpillar
Would this work?

Just recently got a Bass VI. I've heard it's worth it to try playing it through both bass amps, and guitar amps in order to get different unique tones, but I primarily play bass, so I don't have guitar amps laying around. I picked up this little tube amp with some store credit in the hopes of broadening my tonal horizons- So far, I've had amazing results!
