 | I made a tiny single-PCB USB rubber ducky that slots into a USB port and injects keystrokes. Once inserted, it disappears completely inside the port and is almost invisible to the untrained eye. It comprises a USB enabled STM32 microcontroller and four phototransistors, which both hold the PCB in place and allow remote (IR) activation and deactivation. 2025.01.19 11:22 dies_das1 Not sure if they are worth keeping
These are two Sage'n Sour from T.H. Seeds I started early november (Bio Bizz All mix soil and Bio Bizz nutes)
The one in the back I am surprised that it even survived. Got stunted at seedling and took weeks for it to grow normal leaves while the other took off. Shortly before I christmas I noticed some spots on leaves on the plant in the front... Most likely a defiency I thought but wasn't sure. Since I was going away for a week and wouldn't be able to do anything about it if i fuck up, i decided to handle it once i'm back. When I came back, it had barely grown size but was branching like crazy. So pretty sure it was lacking potassium. Since I started feeding it, leaves look normal again. But it is still branching like crazy. A few days after defoliating a lot, it will look as bushy as before.
Switched to flower a week ago and i am not even seeing pistils on the front plant. Meanwhile the stunted one has caught up in size and seems to start build out pistils.
I might give it another week and if i don't see much progress, I'll just start over i guess.

 | I applied cheap white paint on my model, and didn't like how it looked. Tried to clean it with airbrush cleaner, got both primer and paint from large areas of the model, but muddied recesses and small parts with primer. Basically, I ruined it. Tried to soak it in isopropyl alcohol a few days later, but couldn't get the primer off. I'm fully aware some people use it seriously but most of us are kidding. You think us saying we also gave birth to our pets are being serious. Its a joke and you guys need to calm the fuck down.
Unless someone's walking into a parents group or someones comparing pet life to actual parents then they're a problem but most of the time we're joking and speaking among our pet communities
The number of people who actually think of their pets as their children are much lower then the ones who are just saying some words to just have fun and have a laugj
It's like people are looking for reason to be mad in people's communities.

Currently I am a trainee at a MC / Top US firm. I have good academics (high 1st Oxbridge). My partner lives in the United States and our dream is to be able to live together in the short to medium term. How feasible is it to make this transition? Is it better to focus on non-legal avenues?

Somehow I got a thing on my laptop where every Google search redirects me to a search engine called potterfun[.]com, and gives me a load of annoying ads and websites instead. I tried different browsers, deleting and re downloading browsers, ive updated and restarted my laptop, ive done virus scans and can't find anything, but I found in task manager this program called wse1951 which has never been there before and is using quite a lot of resources I was just going to stop the task but I thought that might just stop me from finding where it is and deleting it, so I searched for it in file explorer, and it just keeps loading for ages Please help :(

Hi, currently training for a relatively flat half marathon, I've never done any road running events before but a few trail/fell runs. I have generally got on well with lower drop shoes.
I'm following a training plan on Runna snd I really rate it. Averaging 3 runs a week - usually:
*1x easy run (distance varies around 6km+ currently) usually mixed surfaces *1x tempo/intervalls/hills session (maybe 7km including warmup and cool down) usually tarmac * 1x longer run, mostly easy pace but sometimes with a progressive pace or a faster block in the middle (over 10km) tarmac or mixed surface
Now my current shoes are: * Altra Escalante Racer 2 - 0mm drop (tempo and intervals, some progressive runs) * Topo MTN Racer 3 - 5mm drop (a proper trail shoe but get used for some easy mixed surface runs still) * Inov-8 TrailFly 270 - 0mm drop (the most battered shoes, get used for a bit of everything at slower pace, best on mixed surface) * Day to day I wear almost exclusively barefoot shoes, and for my strength training and mobility these or actual barefoot.
Now my question is this - Should I be looking to add another road shoe to my rotation for easier efforts? Especially as the Escalante are a shoe that only really work at Tempo speed. I own some Altra Torins but I don't really get on with them. I am wondering if as my weekly mileage continues to grow, there would be some benefit to adding something with light drop too? Initially my calves were getting very tired bit they seem to be mostly fine now, probably adapted a bit.
Also, whilst I do love the feeling of the Escalantes, I don't know if they are a shoe that I will take to half marathon distance. Have had no issues taking them up to 10km plus though.
Any thoughts appreciated - my current thinking is to get something like the Topo Cyclone 2 and use as a bit more of a do it all road trainer, with the Escalante Racers becoming more of a technique training shoe for shorter interval and tempo sessions.
Criteria would be: * Relatively low stack (under 30mm, probably less) * Relatively low drop (under 6mm) * Suitable for distances 10-20km
