I (m, mid-30s, 6'4", 196 lbs, approx. 20% BF, non-smoker, little alcohol, no medication, no stress) went on a cut from August to December 2024 (starting weight was 205 lbs with approx. 25% BF) and started a new workout plan (PPL) at the same time.
Daily diet data during cut:
- Daily deficit 500 kcal
- Prot: 290g
- Carbs: 130g
- Fats: 50g (in retrospect I think it was way too little)
I have the following problems since around October:
- bad mood, fatigue
- greatly reduced libido
- Very poor erection quality (no s3x possible)
- no more morning wood
- less and more watery sp3rm
I suspect that the sub optimal macro distribution (too little carbs and fats) has disturbed my hormone balance (testo).
Other factors such as stress and sleep have also remained the same in my life. The only things that have changed are my diet, more sports and my intake of whey and creatine.
I have been taking supplements of Vit B, C, D, Zinc and Mg for many years and don't think I have a deficiency.
What does the doctor say?
My urologist said it is psychological and that I should look for pelvic floor exercises on YouTube. (I'm currently looking for a new Dr). He didn't do a blood test - I got it myself afterwards.
M assumptions based on the blood works:
- low FSH + LH = not good, so my brain doesn't tell my balls to produce T
- low T = bad, possible reason for my issues
- according to my research high Progesterone can cause bad mood too.
- Are my assumptions plausible?
- How long does it take for the body to normalize any hormonal imbalance?
- I don't want to jump straight to TRT because I hope my body will restart my own T production over time

I don’t usually post anything, but I guess I just need a place to vent, so here it goes.
A few years ago, I was much skinnier and lighter compared to now because I was very active (I played a lot of sports and was part of my school’s dance club). Fast forward to 2022, when I started university, I decided not to join any extracurricular activities so I could focus on my studies. As a result, I ended up gaining weight.
Since then, my parents, specifically my dad, have been making remarks about my weight gain, calling me “heavy” or “fat.” I’ve tried to make it clear that I’m uncomfortable with these comments, but he never gets the hint because, to him, it’s always just a “joke.”
A few days ago, I fractured my foot and had to rely on my friends to help push my wheelchair around at school. During the car ride home, with my friend in the car, my dad made a “joke” about how my friends now know how heavy I am after pushing me in the wheelchair. My friend defended me, saying it wasn’t a problem and that I wasn’t that heavy. But the moment I heard those words from my dad, I completely lost my mood. I decided to stay quiet for the rest of the ride, leaving my friend to talk to him instead.
Then today, I had to go down a slope, and my sister suggested facing backward so it would be easier and safer to wheel me down. But my dad deadass said, “You can just push her normally, she’s heavy so she won’t fall off the wheelchair.”
I don’t know, maybe I’m just being overly sensitive, but I’m really tired of being fat-shamed. He doesn’t realize how much his words affect me, but I sometimes find myself crying over these things. At this point, I feel like it’s pointless to tell him how much I hate it when he comments on my weight or body size because he never takes it seriously. Sure, he might stop for a while if I bring it up, but give it a few days, and he’s back to his usual “jokes.”
Don’t get me wrong, I still love him and everything, but it’s just exhausting for me. Right now, I don’t know what else to do.

When I find and use these firework bombs introduced with seaason 2, when I use them, I see zero visuals/adudio of them, no smoke, no explosion sound, nothing. My friends with me see it though.
My graphics settings are on Ultra with 2-3 things set on high. Already reloaded shaders, didn't help.
Any idea why I cannot see it?

I recently installed a 5800x processor and an Arctic liquid freezer III 240 AIO.
My IDle temp is 38c but in windows if I do something for exemple only browsing the net it goes up to 60c. During Cinebench r23 multi core test it goes up to 80c( I think it is fine.) What do you think what causing the temp fluctuation.
My Arctic liquid freezer settings are:
Pump: Flat 65% all the time(this is the recommended AFAIK) VRM vent: Flat 60% The vents on the radiator: 60% until 60c, 60c - 70%, 70c - 80%, 80c - 100%
Well vented house(corsair 4000d with 2 intake vents and 1 outtake vents at the back.)
It is quite frustrating to go "very" high up during browsing and doing nothing basically.
My frined who has the same processor using Dark rock Slim air cooler and his temps goes up to 55-60c max during gaming. Idle temps low 30c

Call me crazy, but didn’t the two-finger spread - don’t be a pervert- once transition the app form standard to full screen, and two-finger pinch the opposite? Doesn’t that seem so much more intuitive and useful for a video player? I understand those actions most frequently are associated with zoom, but what do we want to do more often on YouTube? Zoom or flip to full/window screen?
…back on track. When learning something new I of course sometimes need to listen repeatedly. Sometimes slowing the speed is beneficial. Finally, looping can help lock in the muscle memory. NONE of those things are easy to do with a guitar in your hand, with an app that requires a tap to wake the controls, another tap to click the icon, a third tap to wake the controls because it misinterpreted your second tap, a 4th, a 5th…
I want a physical piece of hardware with a dial/wheel that I can use to scroll forward/backward. Other buttons to do obvious things - control volume, speed, loop start/stop points. This must exist. I realize I’m asking for something most would consider unnecessary/outdated. Hell, maybe there is a modern, in-app solution I am unaware of. Teach me!
