2025.01.19 12:35 Iakov2000 Calculating the range of the Base Attack of the Divine Wrath MBT
 | This is going to be another post where we will be calculating the range of the Base Attack of an Elite Forces unit since they have only been in the game for a year and therefore the range has not yet been found by our friends at Baidu as they had done for the regular units back in 2017. Today we're going to calculate the range of the Base Attack of one of the new Scorpion Empire units (Divine Wrath MBT) that might be added as a playable Elite Forces unit at some point. If you're not familiar with damage calculations and you want to understand this process and the mechanics or if you're not familiar with the concept of the range of Base Attack I suggest reading previous posts where I go into some details on what is the Base Attack of a unit, the importance of its range, how does it relate to the Base Damage etc. here: Damage calculation and game mechanics in general Damage calculation and game mechanics in general 2 Distinction between Base Attack and Base Damage The calculation of the Divine Wrath MBT's range of Base Attack was made possible only after figuring out precisely how the Divine Wrath Punishment perk functions. As we deduced in How Divine Wrath Punishment works Divine Wrath Punishment is applied just like the E-776 Armored Car's Firepower Penetration perk producing a multiplier that comes after possible reduction due to terrain or city's defences multipliers therefore applying to the damage up to that point as a whole. As we have previously said, since the Elite Forces entered the game recently there's no known range. There's only the average Base Attack. For the Divine Wrath MBT the average Base Attack at level 5 is always 103 (118-15 from max tech bonus for Tanks). So 103 is the exact average of the minimum and maximum Base Attack. The range could be 93-113 or 98-108 or even somewhere else. The number that gets chosen from within the range of the Base Attack at the start of damage calculations is random. And that's why we need to do a sizeable amount of tests in order to locate the range. I conducted 50 tests (which produced 100 damage values due to each barrel being calculated separately while the total damage dealt to the enemy troop is applied as the sum of the damage done by both barrels) under the exact same conditions. Now, I could have done it with a simple plain level 5 Divine Wrath MBT but I chose to assign to it a strong Tank General in order for the results to be comparable to what you might get in regular gameplay since when you make an Elite Forces unit you usually put a general on it. The Divine Wrath Punishment is an extremely powerful unit. If it became playable and upgradeable as an addition to the Elite Forces tank roster it would undoubtedly become the most powerful Elite Forces tank in the game currently. It's fast, it has a big Defence and a very big Base Attack and its perks make it very potent both defensively and offensively. Nano-restoration provides very decent healing capabilities and a solid defensive effect equal to approximately a "level 6" Blue Tank Ribbon when over 50% HP at level 5 and equal to approximately a "level 8" Blue Tank Ribbon and Model's Positional Warfare when over 50% HP(which you'll always strive to be in any case) at level 9. Pulse Shockwave is a nice niche Rumour like perk while Divine Wrath Punishment is currently the most potent offensive tank perk in the game as it applies at all times and increases the damage done to enemy opponents by approximately 60% when the MBT is at level 5+ and by approximately 80% when the MBT is at level 9. For an assessment of how to deal with an enemy Divine Wrath MBT you can read Divine Wrath MBT: a quick analysis by u/gaoruosong . The general I used in these tests is a maxed out Wittmann. He has medals boosting Armored Assault and Panzer Leader as well as the Panzer Elite Medallion. His build can be seen in Picture 2. In order to not trigger a morale increase which would complicate our calculations I was restarting the game each time before my attacks. The Machine Gun perk is also relevant in these calculations as Wittmann is attacking an Infantry unit. As already stated we will be calculating the damage produced by a single barrel instead of the sum of both and Divine Wrath Punishment will be applied as explained in the previous post. We also completed some upgrades in the National Technology Tree, specifically Rifle Cannon and Cannon Stabiliser. The Level 5 Red Ribbon boosts Wittmann's probability of dealing a fatal blow and increases the damage done by a fatal blow. Wittmann with this build (60% due to boosted Panzer Leader + 30% due to the level 5 Red Ribbon) combined with the Cannon Stabiliser upgrade that grants him a 10% increase to probability rate will have a 100% probability of dealing a fatal blow and therefore will only be dealing fatal blows in this case. The level 5 Red Ribbon augments the fatal blow multiplier of Wittmann. So the regular ×1.5 multiplier for a fatal blow will be ×2 (1.5 + 0.5 due to the level 5 Red Ribbon) for these calculations. For our tests we're going to use the 1960 Challenge Conquest and play as the African Scorpion to utilise the level 5 Divine Wrath MBT. As seen in Picture 1, I attacked over and over again the same level 5 Combat Medic after restarting the game before each attack. The Combat Medic is an Infantry unit and this one has a Defence of 18. Wittmann has max health in order to not get a reduction due to health under 50% and the morale is regular so no boost or decrease from there. The Combat Medic is located on plain terrain. Before going into the results I would like to reiterate that the damage formula when battling against units stationed outside of cities in either plain or water tiles is : (Base Damage) × (62,5/62,5+Defense) × (Percentage Modifiers) + (Static Modifiers) However Wittmann ignores 100% of the enemy's Defence due to Ace Tank. So for him the formula becomes: (Base Damage) × (Percentage Modifiers) + (Static Modifiers) Because of the Divine Wrath Punishment perk applying as a multiplier coming in at the end of damage calculations the formula is modified once again and is applied as: [(Base Damage) × (Percentage Modifiers) + (Static Modifiers)] × [0.8 due to Divine Wrath Punishment] We are now going to calculate the damage done if we take as a value the average Base Attack of the level 5 Divine Wrath MBT which is 103. The number we're going to find is useful since we would expect the range to be around that number but since the number chosen from the range of Base Attack is random it wouldn't be more likely to see the average damage more often than other numbers that exist in the range nor do we expect the actual average damage of the tests to be that exact number (although it will probably be close). It is a mean estimate of the damage you're going to do under the circumstances we have established. As we said Wittmann only deals fatal blows. Let's proceed with the calculations: Average fatal blow: [(((103 average Base Attack ×2 due to fatal blow)+(15 due to max tech in tanks)) + (30 due to 6 stars in Armor) + (24 from Panzer Elite Medallion) + (5 from the Rifle Cannon upgrade)) × (1.48 from boosted Armored Assault × 1.55 from Machine Gun) + (0 there are no Static Modifiers)] × [0.8] => [(280) × (2.294)] × [0.8] = 642 × 0.8 = 513.6 Let's proceed with the testing and the analysis of the results. !Go to Picture 3! So, as we see in Picture 3 we conducted 50 attacks that produced 100 damage values due to each barrel being calculated independently (all 100 were fatal blows). So by looking at the minimum and maximum damage dealt, the range we arrived at was 495-532. We shall substitute the average Base Attack of 103 of our level 5 Divine Wrath MBT in order to calculate the numbers that produce the minimum result of 495 and the maximum result of 532. Maximum fatal blow: [(((98×2)+(15))+(30)+(24)+(5)) × (1.48 × 1.55) + 0)] × [0.8] => [(270) × (2.294)] × [0.8] = [619 × 0.8] = 495.2 = 495 So the minimum Base Attack should be 98 since 98 produces numbers in line with the tests. 98 is 103-5. Logically the maximum Base Attack should be 103+5=108. Let's try to confirm it. Maximum fatal blow: [(((108×2)+(15))+(30)+(24)+(5)) × (1.48 × 1.55) + 0)] × [0.8] => [(290) × (2.294)] × [0.8] = [665 × 0.8] = 532 The numbers are in line with our tests and so we can safely conclude that the level 5 Divine Wrath MBT has a range of Base Attack of 98-108. This -5/+5 range in relation to the average Base Attack is also applied to the weaker versions of the Divine Wrath MBT under level 5 and the strongest versions of the Divine Wrath MBT over level 5. For example the level 9 Divine Wrath MBT has a range of Base Attack of 117 - 127 with an average Base Attack of 122 (137-15). Hello, I am currently 9th grade student and I am learning German for my college application. For some context, english is my second language, and my English level was C1 two years ago. Since I did not grow up in an environment where I used English every day, I know it is difficult to reach that level. So I wonder now. since my native language is not a European language or English, it is quite challenging to learn German. And I dont know if I can get C1 level..... Is there any chance that I can reach that level in a short period of time (I think about 2 years)? My goal is to study 2 hours a day, or maybe more on vacation. If anybody has similar experience or any great advice, I would appreciate your comments!!

 | I've noticed an influx of new players, and it made me wonder if anyone showed them the trick to Server Uptime. Ever have a moment where you get out of a Server, hop into the next, and immediately get notified that your Server ends in 2-10min? That's because Servers all roll on shifted times. Sometimes they line up and 3-5 Servers all yeet their residents out, but typically its only 1 or 2 Servers displaced at a time. Each Server lasts 4hrs tops, but Devs can shorten the time for major updates by pushing the uptime closer to the 4hr mark(which obv is the only time the player base gets dumped at once; loading can be slow post-update due to everyone joining at once). The rolling times prevent everyone constantly joining servers at the same time, slowing the Servers down. You can actually check exactly how much time you have to play in the Server by checking the Socials Tab. It runs up, so the closer to 0 it is, the more time you have to play. This can seriously come in handy if you have only a little bit of free time, and can get the Server hopping out of the way at the start. Keep in mind that they reduce the amount of active Servers roughly 12am-6am EST, which means you're less likely to find a fresh Server; any Server less than 2hrs in is a decent Server. submitted by Vixen_OW to pathoftitans [link] [comments] |

Does anyone have any opinions on their Huha thongs and wearing tight leggings?
The reviews of the seamless are not looking a bit grim and the low profile seams some find uncomfortable as well (sensory sensitive individual). The standard thong I just cannot do that style of waist band without it cutting into my hips.
I typically wear a medium which fits perfect and enjoy the hipster style the most. But, based off the reviews would probably size up in most of these styles. However, the top seam of the gusset shows right through my leggings at the peak of my mons.
We all know that turning over our underwear drawer to Huha could be a bit pricey, so I wanted to get some first hand opinions. So folks, which of these shows the least through your leggings? Thank you!
