It's a tough job market and my not very demanded social science degree and lack of job experience as a new grad will certainly play against me. But I have to start out somewhere, I don't care much about the job, as long as it's not dead-end and actually offers career progression and salary growth opportunities. I'm also bilingual in Spanish/English. So if you guys know of anything, hopefully in the private sector, it would really help. If you can specify not only the careejob, but also how to get in, move up, pivot/transition or whatever, like lay out the typical career path from start to finish, well, that would really help a lot, since I see so many people working in unrelated fields to their major, but with no clue of how they got there. And if you know how salaries look at each stage of the career, that would be even better.

For reference po, Agri related ang undergrad and currently working sa national government agency. Tried UPLB masters program but di sya akma sa schedules ko since I need to satisfy required subjects and all of those subjects are weekdays lang available and most of the time ang work ko is puro travel kami around the Philippines usually straight 3 weeks monday-friday. Naover look ko yung idea na f2f na nga pala sa UPLB. Huhu

I am heartbroken. For the tough time he’s going through and for our relationship.
I’m trying to not make this about me but honestly, this is not how I envisioned our relationship. He has a masters degree and a live in girlfriend who is a doctor. He lives about 5 hours away from me. So there’s not a ton I can do and I just don’t know what to do. I vacillate between concern and disappointment. He won’t answer texts or calls. I miss him so much and worry about how he is doing. We’ve had such a nice relationship until this past year. I cannot imagine this playing out for years. He’s such a cool guy. So smart and just a great person.

When I was 8 y/o I plugged my uncles toilet so badly the city had to redirect traffic.
I’m keeping it clean as possible here, I promise. So I used to get constipated, badly..
I wouldn’t release for a week - 2 weeks at a time, sometimes 3. And became notorious in my family for crushing bathrooms. Throughout my entire life I never witnessed my father struggle with much, he’s a strong guy who put up with a lot of abuse when he was younger, he really turned his lemons to gold, and physically a powerhouse... but watching him battle the plumbing for sometimes hours at a time after I came through lead a plethora of emotions for my young mind to cope ranging from bafflement to straight up demoralization.
Looking back, I can’t even imagine how he felt. It’s something we don’t talk about really, and I size it up to the level of at least mild post-traumatic stress.
So one time I go at my uncles, before I go in I specifically remember him saying, “hey dude don’t plug the piping!” jokingly we had a laugh, but then it actually happened. So the same routine goes down, I try to plunge. My uncle takes up to bat next, but he’s got heart problems so it defeated him and I with genuine ease. My dad showed up later on, he’s going to town. Nothing. Dad teeters between full rampage, berserking mode and scientific breakthrough, fashioning customized devices to help combat the situation after trying to Schwarzenegger the thing. He would fail this day.
Uncle calls the plumber. Plumber comes down, dude can’t get the thing unplugged through his arsenal of tools designed strictly for situations as these. Calls up what I assumed was the wizard of plumbing. No luck. Plumber ends up having to call the city to get them involved. City deploys an engineer to come checks things out. Guy comes down with blueprints. The city ends up employing an excavation crew for this situation. Excavation crew ends up having to tear up the pipes in the middle of the street which also happened to be a 3-way intersection on the busiest road in this suburb of around 5,000 and subsequently had to redirect the main flow of traffic for at least a 1/3rd of the population for a good week.

So i applied to an university as an international student i got admission but my admission letter states that i have to clear two suplementary exams befor being admitted which is not a problem as the topics they underlined was really easy for me and that admission letter was valid for two intakes i missed the first intake because i was very busy in some other stuff and now going to enroll in second but just got to know that the university changed the admission criteria for that program to 80% which i just slightly miss by 4% 🙂 So can they revoke my admission letter or if i just pass the suplementary exam i am ok to enroll in university i didn't accept an admission in other two universities because i wanted to go to this and now this and its been 6 months and they didn't told me about this requirements change. can my university do this?

Hi everyone! I’m new here and excited to join this community. I’ve been working on breaking into the American version of being a mangaka, and I’m skilled in anime and manga art styles. I’ve mastered profile shots—facial features, head, hair, and down to the chest—but my anatomy skills beyond that are a real struggle.
Would you recommend focusing on learning full anatomy before moving forward with other aspects of drawing? I’m a visual learner, so I learn best by seeing basic shapes being built into forms. Do you have any suggestions for books or affordable classes that could help me improve?
Also, I’m blown away by the talent I see on this board—seriously impressive work! From the panel work I’ve done so far, my style leans more toward Webtoon vibes. Keep up the amazing work, everyone!

How would you get the effect as in the first image? Is it a slow shutter speed with a continuous light and a strobe going off twice? Where would you place the lights? Or is it done mostly in post? How would you shoot to get a similar effect? For the second image, this might be very stupid but how is the light hitting only the subjects? Is it just the subjects far away from the background and a light from high up above the camera pointing down, or some kind of completely overhead lights? I (15 NB) am probably autistic, and in waiting for a proper diagnosis. My dad last week said, since I am supposed to enter professional field in 6 years, that he wants me to be more "autonomous".
He is scared because I don't integrate social cues well, and that I do not socialize as often as others do. He said that people came to him saying "Is your daughter autistic" (not in a good way) because of my noise cancelling headset, and that "in professional field, you will not have accomodations".
He does not want me to have to integrate social cues only at 40 like he has done, and want me to be less weird because "If you are too weird, no one will want you on professional or social fields". He also expects me to take my headset off because he thinks that it made noises that I could support before unsufferable. I also do not express myself very well, and that i am unable to handle stress, and he wants to change that. He stated that he will put more pressure on me, and I am scared, since it's very difficult for me recently to handle self and school stress. How I can do to change that ? How do I make my dad understand ?
Note : My parents are separated, and I live 1 week with my dad and the other with my mom.
