I’m from out of state and I’m moving to Raleigh. I really like the Raleigh Exchange Apartments in Northeast Raleigh, but I can’t tell if this area is a good place to live.
It is right next to capital blvd, and that place seemed sketchy, but the area directly around the apartment seemed fine.
I work from home and enjoying walking, so I love how Raleigh Exchange apartments are right next to Spring Forest Road Park. Is this park and the surrounding area safe?
I just sort of got mixed signals. Food Lion had moisturizer locked up off capital blvd and there was a cop standing in the front of the store. That’s never a good sign. But maybe if I stay east of Capital I’d be fine.
Just looking for advice on this. Thank you!

2025.01.19 14:21 No_Scientist7105 How do people use screen protectors on iPhone X and above ?
The 16 is my first iPhone without a home button and the swipe from bottom gesture is SO annoying with a screen protector on. Every time I swipe from the bottom, I can feel my finger grabbing onto the edge of the protector (ESR btw) which makes me consider removing it and only using a case.

I am currently on chapter 2 and I’m feeling really uncomfortable by the use of the M-word by Draco and the constant pre-war discriminatory belief. Does he redeem by the end or does he stay the same? I’d like to have some knowledge before I Invest further time into this fic. It’s really interesting but I can’t tolerate that discrimination tbh.

I'm sorry if this is too sensitive, but I'm desperate for help.
Since early access release, I've lost count of how many hours I've played. I've made over 40 characters, including about 15 that I have played through Acts 1, 2, and 3 only to delete them because I was unhappy with the character names (sad we can't change them like in PoE 1 yet).
I don't want to derail the subject and add too much sob story for fear of this post getting deleted by mods. I will say though that I've spent over $2400 on both PoE 1 and PoE 2, poured countless hours into PoE since Betrayal league, and am looking to move on from this game and go forward with my life.
Simply put, I need some utter convincing for me to stop playing PoE. I love the game to death, so much that I've pulled 4 all-nighters in a row 3 weeks in a row playing this game. The game, which is highly addictive, is preventing me from progressing in life (I'm willing to elaborate in the comments; I don't want to make this initial post too long). Since I've supported the game this much, I think it's time for me to move on with my life.
I am begging for anyone to provide me some advice on how to stop wanting to play PoE for good. I know the simplest way is to uninstall the game and stop playing it, but I keep coming back to this game every single time. I'd appreciate any advice. This is essentially a plea for inspiration, for lack of a better phrase.

So nearly three weeks in to this and a few things I’ve experienced or “getting used to”. Some good some a little less.
1) Overall like the look. I always felt I didn’t have the head shape for it. But the more I observe the more I generally like it.
2) Even though I like it I definitely still miss my hair. But with probably 35-45% of my hair experiencing loss I doubt any treatment could really recover it.
3) Not everyone likes it. My wife does not like the look on me. Which does not help my overall confidence. That being said my hair loss is very significant and I’m very conscious of my hair. So I don’t think I could go back. Surprisingly the kids were like “I got used to it after day 2.
4) I have a large cherry angioma on the back of my head. It’s been there for decades but now it’s more problematic with shaving. So seeing a dermatologist over it.
5) Sleeping is painful sometimes. I think this has to do with the frequency of shaving but now that I’m razor shaving I notice at night it is a little painful at times having my head on a pillow.
6) That being said i haven’t been super happy with the performance of a rotary shaver. It’s good, but just misses a lot of areas for a good close shave. However maybe the razor shave it just too close and I need to re-try the rotary and see if the pain is less again. I didn’t remember discomfort shaving and sleeping the first 7-10 days using the rotary.
7) Time to shave. I wet shave in the shower. It just is much better for my skin. But shaving with a razor is easily 15+ minutes alone. The rotary is quicker but still takes like 3-4 passes and 10+ minutes.
But yeah mostly good. Some annoyances.
