TL/DR: game consistently crashing with DirectX Error dialogue and I don't know what to do. Any insight, "have you tried...", "you should do....", would be greatly appreciated.
Background;
Playing on Predator Helios 300 (PH315-51), NVidia GeForce GTX 1060, play game on laptop monitor, have external monitor with Chrome. I bought the game on Steam.
Be me, finish modded run. Decide to start new save for cross-act achievements. Swap out 1 mod by same author, add some hair and eye color mods. Get to beach and maybe 15 or 20 minutes in the game freezes and crashes but doesn't give the DirectX error code. reboot, realize there wasn't a recent save so I'm back at the start of the beach. This time I only make it maybe 5 to 10 minutes before game crashes again. Try one last time, make it about 5 to 10 minutes. Game crashes the 3rd time and this time it shuts off the link to the external monitor, and changes the zoom setting on the laptop monitor to 200%, as well as locking the refresh rate at 1Hz. Verify integrity of game files, no issues.
What I've done or tried:
I can fix the refresh rate under device manager by stopping/starting the Intel(R) UHD Graphics.
Maybe there is something with the mods conflicting or something. Uninstall game, delete all mod files. download and install. Install mods via in-game mod manager, random Tav to test... Don't even make it past the load screen. Game crashed again, get DirectX error, external monitor goes down, laptop monitor set to 1Hz again. Reset/fix this, tyr to load old save file that was not modded, run around end game camp for a maybe 2 minutes, no crash. Verify integrity of game files, no issues. Run the command prompt sfc /scannow, something gets fixed.
Maybe drivers are out of date. Use Device Manager to check drivers, no updates found. Use Nvidia to check for drivers as well, no updates there. Uninstall/reinstall the game again, no mods installed, RandomTav, crash on load screen.
At some point during all this I even changed graphics to the lowest settings and it still crashed.
Say F*** it, factory reset laptop. Upgrade from windows 10 to 11 (cause who knows), go through updates until there aren't any more to get, check for NVidia drivers, install Steam, download/install game yet again. Launch with faintest glimmer of hope. Didn't even make it past the Gamma setting slider (screenshot below) this time. Verify integrity of files, try one more time, and it doesn't even make it past the loading screen to get me to the menu.
Tried a couple other games (Oxygen Not Included, Vampire Survivors) granted not nearly as graphically demanding as BG3.

Hi all.
Having an issue with my 2023 Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE. As the title explains, the situation is as follows:
-Creeping forward in stop-and-go traffic, 4-5mph to 0mph full stop
-Using DRCC cruise control, letting the car move itself forward, no foot on brake or accelerator pedal
-As the car comes to a full stop, I hear what seems like the ABS or Electronic brake actuator? making croaking/buzzing/grinding sound, as it modulates brake pressure to bring the car to a full stop (kinda like ‘Grrrrrrak/Brrrrrrap’ on and off as it modulates). Noise ceases when car comes to a full stop.
Conditions:
-Cold, ~25 to 35deg F
-Snowy wet or dry, it does it in both conditions
Any ideas what is causing this and what the fix is?

They have me on seroquel and fluvoxamine and I’ve been somewhat irritable on this med it goes on and off. It’s been the fourth day and I keep having intrusive harm thoughts and it’s bothering me. Idk if I want to stay on it it’s also waking me up in the morning like at least with seroquel it would keep me asleep. Anyone with OCD experience this? It’s not fun and embarrassingly I tried to get off. Because it’s not killing my libido I almost had a panic attack and that was uncomfortable. All I know is these constant on and off anxious feelings is becoming insufferable.

I know this could be as simple as:
If there are no RAG/tool results -> ask the user for more information
However, I think this approach is too limited to meet my needs.
- How can the LLM know the user has supplied enough information to get results that are not too generic from RAG/tools?
- How do I know that the user-supplied question/statement is in bounds enough for the LLM to ask for clarifying questions?

For me, George, disentangles feudalism and new-feudalism and capitalism.
Capitalism is dynamic and feudalism wants to freeze whatever time in history that gave them and advantage.
I suspect a lot of communist movements are tacit or formal support from feudalists who are threatened by capitalism's dynamism (and they know communism won't win lastingly, won't be dynamic, won't increase wealth, and will be co-opted).
I grew up in India and I vividly remember in around 2002/2003 Reliance Industries introduced a cell phone company in India that was so cheap, even the homeless had it, this was a big deal.
A relative of mine sneered and said she doesn't want everyone to have a phone because then her having one won't be a big deal, it'll diminish her stature.
This stuck with me and this stasis mindset is the feudal mindset. I was 14 back then.
Anyway, I discovered Georgism and am surprised how open it is to free mind and free markets.
Any opinion on LVT?
