Recently as I started changing my config and included some element of a config named NANO Emacs, I noticed some lag. On my main, powerful (i7 11th, 64G of Ram) computer the lag was less noticeable but you could still fill it, but on older (but still powerfull) device then it was really annoying. At first I thought some part of the config (layout, mode-line, header, theme setting) was responsible, so I pass quite some time to search with try and error for laggit part. But, it append it simply came from the font settings, in particular the use of light variant of a font in NANO Emacs. More precisly, the way the font is set. In the config the default face is set as (set-face-attribute 'default nil :height 120 :weight 'light :family "Maple Mono NF" ) with the use of the :weight parameter then it lags. But if I remove/comment this :weight parameter (and use the regular weight) or if I "create" a font family with the same light font but renamed and set as the Regular font (by the use of Fontforge) and use that one without the :weight parameter then no lag.
(set-face-attribute 'default nil :height 120 :family "MapleL Mono NF" )
Note: I "create" the font family because I could not succeed in setting the light font directly without the :weight parameter, but I am interested if there is a way.

Hi hope everyone is fine... I have a to know why my long term BF whom i am going to get married on march behaving like this.. is this is trauma response..
Firstly, he don't want to take responsibilty. We both are in love from past 7 yrs. When we told pur family about our love, when me and gis mothe started talking.. there are some difference of opinion came btw her and me. When i went and told this to him, you people sort it out don't come to me. Likewise when we went for marriage purchase.. like usually groom side should buy for bride..but his mother told me to buy it myself.. i told himto convey his mother that we are not going to buy..groom side should buy..i told him more than three times..and we went for shopping as well..but at thetime of bill payment.. he called his mother to ask for money.. that time she is telling me i told you earlier like that.. i told to his mother that i already told to your son that groom should buy.. but itseems my BF haven't conveyed it properly to his mother.. it created abig chaos that day.. Today again we went for shopping to buy the dress for wedding day. All went fine. There are some rituals for that we need to get a saree. but that was not in todays shopping plan. I have two sisters.. we planned after buying that one wedding dress we will go to shopping dress for my sisters.. But suddenly his mother came to us saying can we buy saree for rituals as well today. But here my two sisters will be returning today to there work places. So they will come home only on feb end. We explained this to his mom but they convienced me for buying. My BF is working in nearby city only he can come on next weekend if required so i told her mom and sis in law that if required we can call him next week to come home like that. But they haven't convienced, i asked him what we can do. He started fighting..why you are asking me, are you buying saree for me..don't put pressure in my head.. Then after a min i went near to him sliently said behave yourself but his mother and sis in law might not heard it i told in a husky voice. He shouted at me shut your mouth will slap you in front of his mother and sis in law. I was shocked. What happended like that.. While i asked for explaination..he is telling you are going to buy saree for you i am free anyways why you are asking me for desicions.. also you don't tell decide my travel plan..i will decide when i need to come..like that.. also he is telling, "Why don't you tell to my mother that today is not possible", like that strongly... why you want me to tell to my mother... I have no clue on his behaviour.. Can someone help me to understand..
