Hallöchen,
ich mache gerade meinen Bachelor an einer deutschen Universität und ich arbeite nebenbei in einer Fakultät als studentische Hilfskraft. Aktuell arbeite ich 8,5 Stunden pro Woche. Da ich sehr viele Aufgaben erledige und sich auch privat meine Ausgaben vergrößert haben, habe ich bei uns mal sanft nachgehakt, ob es möglich wäre die Stundenzahl aufzustocken.
Von meinen Kollegen/Vorgesetzten habe ich allerdings die Nachricht bekommen, dass ich aufgrund des Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetzes nicht mehr als 9,5 Stunden arbeiten darf. Sonst wĂĽrde der Timer fĂĽr die "ersten 6 Jahre" starten und aus dem Grunde mache das unsere Uni allgemein nicht.
Weiß jemand, ob diese Regel tatsächlich auf mich zutrifft oder ob sich meine Kollegen da vielleicht irren? In manchen Quellen habe ich nämlich gelesen, dass die Regel gar nicht auf SHKs (im Bachelor) zutrifft, spndern erst auf HiWis (im Master).
Ich würde mich total freuen, falls jemand mit mehr Ahnung als ich ein bisschen Licht in die Sache bringen könnte.

Hey, so I used to share a Netflix account with my sister some time ago and was logged in with that account on my phone. I have my own account now though, with only my profile, and I keep getting notifications from Netflix with recommendations using her name, even after reinstalling the app. I don't know if it's just the wrong name or if it's actually recommendations for her, but I suppose the first makes more sense. Does anyone know why this happens?

2025.01.19 17:44 WiseSalamander7 How to prevent cracking seams
I've tried twice now to make a cylinder with a divider in the middle. I've thrown the cylinder shape on the wheel, cut it in half, then attached each half to a slab. The first time, the cylinder was probably more leather hard than the slab. On that one, I got a lot of cracking around all the seams, including a giant one in the bottom. I did use coils to seal off each seam. For the second cylinder, I had the clyinder and slab closer to the same level of dryness. I used lots of slip to attach but didn't add coils, thinking maybe the wetter coils caused some of the cracking. I have some cracking so far mostly toward the rim along one of the seams.
I've tried to dry them slowly. For the first one, I may have taken the plastic off too soon. This time, I've been drying it upside down and have had it wrapped in plastic for at least a weak.
I'm not sure if for a project like this I should just handbuild. (I haven't tried much handbuilding yet other than trying to make the divider for this piece). For some reason, every time I attach the halves to the slab, there's always some kind of gap that I have to try to fix, I think probably due to lack of complete evenness in my cylinder. So maybe handbuilding is the way to go....
Anyone have any advice about this?

Already posted but I wanted to add additional info to see if any opinions change. I’m sorry it’s long, but it’s so mentally draining dealing with someone so horrible, I just need an outlet.
Again, his “i won’t hurt u” text came because he screamed at me and slammed the door. Genuine pure anger.
His previous behaviour:
I cancelled a night out, he stomps down my stairs, smashes the door against the wall then slams it shut. I send multiple messages apologising over and over.
He hurt my feelings one time, by being rude, calling me a name. I respectfully communicated he hurt my feelings, he responded by saying “your a cunt your purposely trying to make me feel bad”. Of course I end up apologising, I didn’t mean to make him feel bad I just wanted him to realise how he made me feel. I profusely apologised.
I didn’t want to go to town because I felt sick. him: your a cunt you obviously don’t see me as a friend the way I see you. Me: profusely apologising
He turned up at my house uninvited, it was the morning, I needed a shower I didn’t want anyone to see me in that diabolical state. So I said “please don’t just show up at my house”. In the evening my roomate invited a friend over and I hung out with them. The guy: your a cunt u didn’t want to see me but you’d hang out with someone else your a bitch wtf. Me: profusely apologising
One time we worked together, he didn’t show up for 2 days out of the 3 which effected the entire group and effected our school grades. I sent a text saying I wasn’t blaming him it’s not just his fault, if he needs help I’m always there for him, it was a group effort etc. Because I know how he reacts, I specifically made sure it didn’t come off as attacking him, we were best friends, I didn’t want resentment or animosity between us so I wanted to communicate how it effected me. He responded by taking a screen shot of 3 words out of the entire paragraph of me saying I’m not blaming him, and said “your purposely trying to make me feel bad” “your just attacking me, your saying it’s all my fault”. Then called me cunt, shit friend, bitch, etc. “I will block you until you admit your blaming me” and sent the screen shot several times saying “I will block you until you admit it”.
My apologies were never enough. I’m still a horrible human being, cunt etc, the insults never stopped. He never apologised for his reactions.
Then by the time it got to this:
I invited him to my bday bbq, he called me a cunt and said “I see how it is babe” because I said “would you want to come?” Instead of “please come”
I took 1 minuet to open the front door for him at 12am because he lost his key, on my way down 2 flights of stairs I ask where his key is because, it has our address so if he loses it we need to buy locksmith. I get voice notes of him screaming “just open the fucking door omg” “are you going to open the door or not” I ask him not to speak to me like that and he calls me childish.
I stopped feeling the need to say sorry.
This bath situation, not opening the door quick enough, not begging him to come to my bbq, yes I could have and maybe should have said sorry. But why should I apologise to someone who rather than speak to me, and explain their frustration in a healthy manor, explosively shouts, screams, stomps, slams doors, and insults me the millisecond something doesn’t go his way. And to top it off, doesn’t apologise for his reactions over tiny inconveniences.
Imagine being scared to tell your “best friend” you have a bbq planned, or tell them they hurt your feelings because you have no clue how they will react.
One more thing. I was in the bath for 45 minutes. Everyone in the house take minimum 45 minute baths. This isn’t outlandish behaviour.
I’m just saying, I don’t want this drama. I know in these texts I’m rude and petty. But after an entire year of letting him speak to me however he wants with no repercussions or apology. I’m not doing it anymore. Up until this point I have been respectful and taken accountability for my wrong doings. But until he learns to communicate his frustrations healthily, I don’t believe he deserved an once of respect from me anymore.

How do you legislate for that first half performance because you were always trying to come back from that start?
It wasn't great the first half. I guess the majority of that is down to me. I changed the team and changed the structure. We had a couple of setbacks in terms of player availability and we struggled to get control of the game and allowed Everton to capitalise on that. Obviously at half-time we had a mountain to climb. Fair play to the players, they kept going until end but ultimately fell short.What was the thinking behind changing the shape of the team?
I had 11 fit players so it was a way of trying to find a way to fit the ones we had fit into a structure. The players tried hard enough but it didn't work.How difficult is for you as you just seem to be taking punches all over the place with losing Solanke ahead of the game and Johnson and Bissouma?
It's a pretty extreme situation, we've lost three players, significant players since, the last game and we've already got seven or eight out. Obviously we lost Dom really late yesterday in training, something innocuous, so it's just the run we're on at the moment, the situation we're in. At some point that will change, we'll get some players back, but right now it's just the situation we're dealt and the responsibility lies squarely with me to try to get us out of it.Do you have any update on Dominic, is it a serious one?
Not totally, I mean it was just one of these things and he just sort of went to shoot on his own and twisted it, so we don't think it's serious, but probably a few weeks at this stage from what I've heard.Presumably that only increases the need for more players?
I mean it doesn't really, I mean I think it was pretty evident before that, but yeah, like I said, we had 11 or 12 missing today and apart from, we've got to see how Rodri's going through the protocols, apart from him, no-one else is really due to come back. We've got a European game on Thursday, we obviously can't use Djed or or Reguilon in that, so we're in this situation.How long is Johnson out for?
It's probably three or four weeks, he did it in the second half against Arsenal the other night. So yeah, we're looking at three to four weeks.And Bissouma?
Biss was a knock, we're hoping that he should be right by next weekend.Is there any sign of any kind of imminent transfer activity?
Look, as I said during the week, I'm sure like everybody, the club's well aware of our situation and they're doing their utmost. As far as I know at the moment there's nothing imminent, but you know, I assume between now and we're getting to the end of the window that hopefully something comes up.It's become a bit tied in with your future though, because obviously you're battling with the team but you've not got the tools to do it?
I separate myself from that. This is not about me, but what is about me right now is I have the responsibility of the group of players I do have, to try and get us through this, and that's what I've got to focus on. For me to focus on anything else is abstaining myself from the responsibility I have. I'm just determined to get us out of this. The club's doing its best to...more about helping the players than helping me because they're the ones we're asking some massive jobs of 18-year-olds. We had a 17-year-old out there trying to win games of football for us. And others who are just playing week on week, so, you know it's more about getting the players help rather than me help.How frustrating is it though that you keep getting injury after injury, how difficult is that to manage through?
I have never played the victim. At the end of the day I still believe the responsibility lies with me to get this right and that is where I sit with things. Whatever the circumstances are and it is fair to say it is a challenging situation for sure a lot of it is out of your control as a manager when you losing the amount of players we are at the moment. But I still have to steer us through and if I start worrying about myself and the cards I have been dealt with it is a dereliction of my duty and my responsibility. It is not how i see it. I see it as these are the cards I have been dealt and it is up to me to get us out of it and I have to be good enough to do that.What is the motivation for you and the players to keep going through this?
Plenty. The club, our fans, our season. We are still in four competitions this season. We are in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup, we have a couple of big European games coming up, still in the FA Cup, obviously our league position is not great to say the least. We need to improve that and eventually our players will come back. It is a significant talent that will come back.
