Hi, I'd like your advice on choosing a phone case for the S24 ultra that would be more centered towards a daily use. I presently have the Spigen Tough Armor (without magsafe), and the iBlason Armorbox, both centered toward protection with the iBlason I use far less since the Tough Armor seems so reliable. I alors have a gel protection I had installed in a specialized shop if it can impact anything
Now, I'm looping for a case that would be great for heat dissipation while retaining great protection capabilities - not like the Tough Armor considering this level of protection requires two loyers, but the closer the better - and the third thing I'm rather unsure of is if it should have Magsafe. It seems great but I'm quite skeptical about it, don’t know much about tech but can it damage the phone or battery on the long run, and by long I'd say to use it for 5-6 years?
I got 2 cases in sight, namely the Ringke Fusion X case (magsafe or not, clear or black camo, dunno what would be better on a black S24 Ultra), and the Spigen Rugged Armor - the Slim Armor seems fine too, but I can’t tell what it brings to the table other than a new design and a stand What do you think?

Hi,
I got an Apple echo system at home with the following :
- Somfy io devices (shuttler, gate, garage door, izymo devices, io smoke detector, etc...) with Somfy Switch box
- Atlantic io heating devices with Cozytouch box
- Zigbee devices (Ikea bulbs, ikea sensor detector, nodon devices for heating system)
- Raspberry Pi 5 with HA and ZBT-1 (Zigbee mode)
Actually I inject natively Somfy devices using their Homekit integration.
Other devices who are not shared with Homekit directly, I am using HA with Homekit bridge
Ikea echo system (Zigbee) is directly shared to Homekit using Matter, working fine. I plan to add on Atlantic system Nodon Zigbee devices (because Cozytouch box is a nightmare and their API is cloud only) and on some Somfy devices Nodon Zigbee devices to have for both better control over HA.
Now I would like to use HA to have for some devices using Zigbee to be publish using HA Matter into Homekit directly, is it possible to do this ?

2025.01.19 16:20 Logically-Weird-3264 I let a friend talk me into breaking up with a guy I liked for ablist reasons
Let me start by saying this happened over 25 years ago. I used to be an absolute doormat, and have done quite a lot of work on myself over the years to stop that tendency.
I had a "friend" I would go clubbing with and to concerts, etc. One night at the club I met this guy who was really nice, intelligent, and fun to talk to. The kicker, in my friend's mind, was he was deaf.
He and I would talk by passing a little notebook and pencil back and forth, and used the phone thru the TTY service. We went on several dates, and I did really like him.
Looking back I think not only was my "friend" ablist, but also I might have not gone out with her a time or two and so she was set to break us up.
She would shame me for dating a deaf guy every time I saw her, and every time we talked. Little jabs here and there. Eventually they sunk in and I was ashamed for both dating him, and also for breaking up with him to stop being shamed by my "friend."
That "friendship" didn't last more than a couple months longer when I said no to her about something and stood my ground on it. She started a smear campaign, and those in our friend group that knew me didn't buy it, but newer people did. So, she was all around a selfish person.
I have thought of him many times over the years. I regret breaking up with him for the reasons I did, and sometimes wonder where that relationship would have gone. I wonder how he's doing and hope he's well and happy.
If I could apologize to him I would.

Hi everyone, I know this question might have been asked countless times, but here I am again.
I was a loyal Sony user for many years, but I gave up photography during the COVID pandemic and haven’t picked it up since.
This year, I have several travel plans and I’m looking for a compact camera with excellent functionality.
Many people recommended the RX100, but I’m drawn to the versatility of the interchangeable lens system.
However, this camera needs to be compatible with my DJI Pocket 3 (video recording isn’t a priority), and it will help compensate for the limitations of my 16 Pro Max.
I’m considering the 7C or the 7C II (just for the 30MP sensor), but I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra cost.
Also, I’m concerned about the weight of the camera and whether it’s easy to carry around or if it can fit comfortably in a bag (I’m referring to the standard kit body and lens).
If there are any other compact cameras from Sony that you’d recommend, please let me know.

So i followed a guide on how to install the cryptid mod on mac, i downloaded cryptid and lovely. I put the cyptid files in the Balatro folder, and the 2 lovely files into the folder that steam opens( the one with Balatro app), then i drag the lovely file on terminal, but it simply opens vanilla Balatro with no mods, can someone tell me how to do it?
