2025.01.19 16:01 Sima_Zhao Terrarium Liner vs. Substrate?
For a juvenile (2-3 inches) is terrarium liner an adequate substitute for actual substrate? The guide on the back of a Zilla brick indicated both are optimal, so (perhaps naively) I got the terrarium liner and used it instead because it said it was better for juveniles and reduced the risk of impaction. I otherwise have a pretty standard setup with lots of moss, branches, fake plants etc. but I am having to mist every couple hours (8x/day) to maintain proper humidity, and I'm concerned the enclosure can't hold moisture well without substrate. Should I swap out the liner?

I am a first-time home buyer in Illinois. I am starting to work with a broker and am concerned with the exclusive buyer-broker agreement they want me to sign. I talked with my attorney and he had a lot of edits. I am now just trying to see what is normal in the market.
Here are the highlights of what I am concerned about: - The exclusive contract is for 1 year and if we sign a property they have shown us for 6 months after the contract is over we have to still pay them.
- I am indemnifying the realtor from any injuries to persons on the property or damage to the property.
- We have no ability to leave the contract for just cause.
- If our relator leaves the broker, the broker will assign a new relator without any say from the buyer.
It seems insane to me to be honest that I would indemnify them for injuries or damage even if it is their fault. Is this normal? It seems overly aggressive and the contract does not give any rights to the buyer.

Estou numa campanha de DnD faz uns anos e é muito divertido, exceto pelo fato de que ando me desentendo com um jogador. Gosto de jogar em grupo e ele é mais no foda-se, exemplos: ele vive se metendo em situações perigosas e ele quem leva os prêmios (acha dinheiro, armas mágicas, relíquias), mas o restante do grupo arca com as consequências junto com ele ganhando só dor de cabeça (a gente se fode nas batalhas, é perseguido por entidades...). Recentemente o grupo quase passou por um tpk e foi o meu personagem que salvou a todos usando um grande favor de um deus e não é que esse player ficou puto? Tá falando merda do meu deus e o amigo puxa saco dele tomou as dores e os dois decidiram tentar achar informações pra "derrubar" o deus, enquanto isso eu só consigo achar uma puta sacanagem e falta de noção pq estaríamos todos mortos se não fosse pelo deus.
Conversando, descobri que ele queria criar ficha nova e que eu "impedi ele disso", mas o GM permitiu a todos fazer um char novo, então não tem sentido tudo isso.
Estou ficando ressentido. Gosto de jogar em grupo, mas eles claramente estão cagando e agora me vejo no dilema de continuar ou não. O GM sabe de tudo, mas se esquiva pq é amigo dos caras, a solução que ele ofereceu foi botar os personagens pra conversar e se alinharem melhor. Quero ver o resto da campanha e os outros players são parça pra caramba, o problema são só esses dois.
O que fariam? Acham que eu tô exagerando? Tô realmente frustrado aqui.
