Hello everyone, I am thinking about buying a dyson for my sister in law as a house warming gift. Her old vacuum gave out and she just bought a new house so it’s the perfect time. I was wondering what the best option is? I know there are new models of the original cordless vacuum out now, but I’m wondering if the V8 is still a good choice? She has two cats and 4 stories to her home, so would be needing something with a longer battery run time. Thanks in advance!

2025.01.19 16:20 Andricoss Ac valhalla both versions Ps4 and Ps5
Both versions installed on my Ps5 The Ps4 version running smoothly with no problems , the Ps5 version crashes when i launch the screen even before its gets in the main menu. Wtf is this ? I am one trophy away from platinum on ps5 version, this is the only reason that i want to play it. I tried all the stuff that i found in the social media! Any advice! The console is 2 months old!

2025.01.19 16:20 Opening-Train-278 AITAH for telling my friend I’ve given up on her?
In August, my best friend (23f) of 10 years asked me to set her up with a guy (23m) who used to be my friend and roommate in college.
i said it’s not a good idea. I don’t talk to him anymore for personal reasons (he was super touchy with me when drunk, had feelings for me when I had a bf, would discuss private sexual details of me in groups of people, overall shirked roommate responsibility and is just plain mean to me and they live in different cities). Still, she insisted so I gave him her contact and he didn’t reach out to her.
in September, she texted him herself and that’s when they started talking. Since then, he’s been absolutely non committal. He says he likes her and he’s scared and the kicker is, he’s absolutely refused to come see her in our city and seemingly wants to continue this bizarre online relationship? She’s given him deadlines to come see her in October, November, December and January and he’s pushed it off. He’s refused multiple times citing fear as the reason.
She rationalises it as him just being afraid of commitment or thinking he’s ‘not ready,’ and visualises a magical day when he will be ready but it just feels like he’s stringing her along. Every time she tries to pin him down to a yes or a no, he either pushes it off or he ‘ends things’ and get back together a day after.
For some more context, he’s just awful to me which she’s HEARD and I was like do you think he won’t be to you? And she’s like you guys are different and we’re different I was also reading a book about emotional abuse and some of it sounded like this guy’s friendship with me and I told her and she even plain admitted that it did sound like he was emotionally abusive to me but he would ‘never be to her’. She started talking g to me about it again yesterday I tried not to give a comment but we started speaking about it and I was like why are you even holding on and she said what if there’s a small chance he’ll come see me and I just bluntly went there isn’t. this upset her but she’s back to normal with him and insists he’s coming to see her. She says they’re in a serious long distance talking stage with no labels and he’s definitely going to be coming in either February or April. She said something to me and I had no energy to respond so I just said look man, I’ve given up which may make me TA. She’s currently not responding to my texts which makes me a bit anxious and upset

I traveled to the U.S. about two years ago, and I will be traveling there again soon. However, my ESTA is set to expire two days after my arrival in the U.S. I contacted the ESTA helpline, and they informed me that I do not need to submit a new application or update my current ESTA.
Can anyone confirm if this is correct? Do I need to apply for a new ESTA, or is my current one still valid for entry even though it expires shortly after I arrive?
