So basically I am going through and updating and fixing some of the quality issues with my library and I want to be able to upload it to my plex server remotely / over my network. Originally I was just removing the disk and putting it into my main PC (Which is where I am acquiring all the stuff to update my library) but that takes too long and has constant downtime on my plex server.
Both PCs are running Windows 10 X-lite. I enabled every single thing with sharing and making the drive a network drive and it shows up on my main PC, but it gives me something about not being able to access it... I googled the error and tried everything that was supposed to fix it, but nothing seems to work. Are there any other ways to access the PC remotely to upload my files to it?

2025.01.19 16:25 dimitri_karakoulko Newb experience: Gaggia E24 vs Bambino Pus
This is my subjective experience of using Gaggia Classic E24 and Sage Bambino Plus for a couple of weeks (paired with Baratza Encore ESP).
I suspect, the list of generally available options when picking up a new (not second hand) newb-level machine, with guaranteed customer support for around 500 EUR is more or less the same for everyone, and comes down to Gaggia Classic and Bambino Plus. Of course, there is also Lelit Anna (with or without PID), but it was ruled out quite soon in the process because of the polished chrome body, whihc would get covered in finger prints, coffee and scale stains in like 43 seconds.
TLDR - it's Gaggia for me: Bambino Plus is not without compromises, and the features it offers are either irrelevant for me, or do not outweigh the weaknesses.
Size, look, feel and size:
First, the "compactness" of the Bambino Plus is just not real. It is slighly narrower, a bit lower, and almost 50% deeper. It really occupies space on the countertop. Also, the plate for cups and accessories on top is barely useable in comparison with the Gaggia (nad does not heat up cups). Unless you are constrained by a low-hanging cabinet, Gaggia will take less space.
Second, Bambino just feels flimsy and plastic: thin sheet metal has a lot of give, the drip tray rattles. Gaggia is build like a tank in comparison.
User experice:
You have to hold Bambino Plus firmly, to get the portafilter in and out. You get used to it, but this is definitely not a positive. Gaggia mostly stays put.
The water tank design on the Bambino Plus, with the filter mount inside, is superior. The tank on the Gaggia is bigger and lasts longer. The one on the Bambino Plus has better visibility of the water level. I preferred to fill in both machines from the top; it ends up practically working the same for both.
The drip tray on the Bambino Plus is ridiculously small, and ambino Plus fills it faster than even the half-profile drip tray on Gaggia.
I do not care about milk frothing functions, so the biggest benefit the Bambino Plus's auto frothing is kind of lost on me. I tried it once, and it seems to work fine. I just do not particularly care about it.
I time my shots, so the programmable buttons on Bambino are more of a distraction than a value add for me. I kind of prefer to turn the pump on and off by myself. I know you can program the shots' duration; probably would have found a use for it at the end.
The cup clearance is a known pain point on the Gaggia, and this is very much true: some of my cups do not fit with the stock portafilter and the stock drip tray. I will have a bottomless portafilter soon (a bit more on it later) and I fully expect this will sove the issue.
Now, on the Bambino Plus the issue is the very opposite, and it got on my nerves quite quickly: it is so freaking tall, that the falling coffee stream always splashes, even if it's veritcal. The splashes fly around, and also land on the polished metal back plate, which start to look like it had pox, after a couple of shots.
If it's not verical even slighly (as it happens at the beginning of the extraction) and you are using a smaller cup, then there is a good chance the first couple of grams will just miss the cup. I ended up putting a block of wood about 4 cm high on the drip tray, then the scale, then the espresso cup. I think they had to make it so tall, so that the milk jug fits on the frothing temp sensor. But damn is this annoying.
Warm up is almost immediate on the Bambino Plus, but you may need to do an empty shot before each shot (more on it later). This kind of negates the advantage in this area. Gaggia gets to usable status from cold in about 3 minutes. No, the group head is not warm enough at this point etc, but after the "ready" light goes on, I can pull a shot and it'll be just fine. I did not find the machine finicky at all with regard to the temperature.
Taste:
The Gaggia is a stock european E24 version: no PID, 15 bar OPV spring. I did not temprature surf, nor try to simulate the preinfusion. With the grind size tuned to get 1:2 ratio in about 30 seconds, I can say that the shots tasted similarly on the Gaggia and the Bambino BUT the Bambino Plus was noticeably colder. Not cold, it was really OKish. I probably would not notice it, without comparison, but there it is. And this even after warming the group up first with an empty shot.
Bonus: Use of ESE pods for decaf and for partner acceptance
My wife needs an occasional coffee, but cannot be arsed to grind, weigh, puck prep, and puck dispose. I was happy to see that the Gaggia, with the default single dose non-pressurised basket takes in the ESE pods, and makes a rather credible espresso. I tried the Illy Clasic Roast 7g pod in & 21-24g liquid out, and yeah, it's more than serviceable, better than a nespresso, IMO. When I do get a bottomless bormafilter, I'll leave the stock one with the single-shot non pressurised basket, so that my wife can always grab it, and make a shot without hassle. Partner acceptance was a big angst point for me; happy that it worked out ;-).
I did not try it with the bambino Plus, so cannot compare.
Other considerations
The possibility to mod Gaggia was a consideration. Given that I had no problems at all with the temperature on Gaggia, the PID mod goes from "oh my god need to have it" to "I will think about it / good to have this option for the future." Same for the OPV.
At the end, I kept the Gaggia, returned the Bambino Plus. I hope you espresso newbs out there in the same situation as me will find this interesting / relevant.
