2025.01.19 17:53 applepoopss Mother in law got offered in the front from the manager $299 sign and drive no money down lease for 2025 kia k4. Not sure on trim but car selling for $24999. When she got to the back they told her $340 with $700 down. She ended up walking bc she didn’t want to put any down. Was this a good deal?
10K miles per year for 3 year lease. She doesn’t want to buy a car. She just wants to lease as she likes to change her car every few years. Thanks for any advice

 | I got this sago palm/cycad (revoluta?) a few months ago and it’s steadily yellowing :( I already had to take off the oldest two leaves, I think it’s from under watering but not sure (I was so scared of root rot I’ve hardly watered). It’s in quite a small pot but not root bound, very free draining soil with lots of perlite. It hangs in a south facing sky light that’s lightly shaded by trees outside. This rookie class has not been the most exciting whatsoever but I think Alex Sarr is a must roster in 12t and above leagues. He is inconsistent at times but he’s quite promising and attempts his faire share of three pointers. Gets you some good defensive stats and I think his upside come late Feb/March is gonna be quite good. What do the rest of you think? ESP given Wizards will sit their bigger name guys, Sarr is just gonna be more appealing as the season progresses.

I (27F) am in a relationship with a guy (27M) since college for the last 5 years (we are both from India). I love him very much and can't think of my life without him. He used to love me a lot too and cared for me immensely. I shifted from another city to his city so that we can be together. We have had arguments and fights from time to time as a normal couple would have. Ours is an intercaste situation so it was difficult to convince my family for marriage. My grandfather who is very fond of me stopped talking to me properly after the incident though he has consented. I convinced my family single handedly and asked them to initiate conversation with the guy's family. He was reluctant about marriage initially as he thought this is too early. He said he is sure about me though. However, he subsequently agreed and we are getting married next month. Since the last 2/3 months, he gets enraged very easily. We don't live together but I visit his place a few times per week. That way I have to pack and unpack things on the go. Our fights start from petty things like he wanting m to drop by early. Or something like putting his jacket securely. When I fail to do as he said, he becomes very angry and he hurts me by saying that he never wanted to marry me. Recently he has started cursing m too. In response, I hit me lightly on the arm because I couldn't bear me. In response he clutched my arm and threw me over the bed which gave me four bruises on my arm and leg, not so major but that was a terror. He had to leave for a office offsite trip the next day but he said that he was guilty of it and he promised he would talk about this and sort this out. After three days he returned and asked m to come to his place at 7. I said I can come only after 8. On this he insisted to which I explained why I am occupied. After that he said that don't come. I was a little taken aback as I was expecting him to be gentle. I said never mind. He called back and he was very furious and he said that setting up thi marriage was the biggest mistake I made for both of us. He called me bitch and some other curses and said he is sad whenever someone asks him about wedding. He said that I am the worst person he has met. He says I am a red flag because I called him crying and I cried profusely. I sent him my teary pictures so that he understands how hurt I am but he didn't respond. I know sending picture is not ideal but I want him to understand that I cannot take this hurt repeatedly. I sometimes consider calling the wedding off but all my family friends colleagues know about it and cancelling the wedding will ruin my family's reputation and mental health. I have a younger sister whose marriage prospects will be affected too. My future is out of question. I don't want my family to suffer anymore because of me. Honestly the best case which appears to me is marry anyway and wait until my sister is married. After that I can take a divorce maybe. It's difficult for me to think all this because ours was a picture perfect relationship and his anger and expectations are now ruining it. I don't how to deal with it myself. But I want to prioritise my family in all of this. What should I do?
