So I'm finishing up my first play though ( meaning I'm half way trhough act 3 so probably a few more months lol) and I have realized how much i missed considering i only used the same 4 characters. I didn't realize that xp is the same across regardless of who's in the party (minus inspiration of course)
But I want to play another play through after this and try to hit up literally everything I can (obviously some paths are closed based on choices) but any tips for this would be great!

2025.01.19 17:36 AfterTwlv I think it’s time to quit for good
I’ll try to keep this brief. I’ve been drinking pretty much everyday since my 21st birthday (I’m 23 now) and I’ve become increasingly concerned with my health and my ability to live the life I want to live. The daily drinking is always at night in the few hours before I go to bed and can range from a beer or two to half a 5th or more. I don’t really know if I’m an alcoholic or have alcohol use disorder, but I don’t think it matters much. I know it’s becoming an increasingly serious problem. For the past year or so I’ve had relatively mild discomfort in my liver area. I sometimes get unexplained bruises on my thighs (maybe I just don’t remember bumping into something). I feel like I’m getting hungover more easily. I have digestion issues. Etc. I’m not looking for any medical advice, but it would be nice if others could weigh in on my situation and give any advice on how I can cut drinking out. Glad to have found this community!

That seems like a really dick move on Odysseus‘ part, even for Odysseus. After all, he and Diomedes were very close and had been through a lot together. How did this action not immediately turn the audience against Odysseus? Additionally, what was the purpose, from a thematic or storytelling perspective, for including this episode in the epic cycle? What were the storytellers trying to say about Odysseus as a character? What message were they trying to convey to the audience?
(It also boggles my mind that Odysseus and Diomedes somehow remained friends afterwards. Like, how?)
