Hello Engineers,
I’m building a clock where a stepper motor completes one full revolution every minute, mimicking a second hand. The motor runs fine at first, but after a few minutes, it starts drifting by 3-5 seconds per minute, which throws off the timing.
Here’s a quick summary of my setup: -Microcontroller: Arduino UNO -Stepper Driver: Using microstepping TB6560 -Timing Control: Using micros() to calculate delays for the motor to maintain 1 RPM.
Stepper Motor: 1.8° step angle I suspect the issue might be: Drift in the Arduino clock or delays adding up over time.
The motor might be skipping steps, causing small errors to accumulate.
This is an open-loop system, so there’s nothing correcting these errors. Thanks in advance!

Hello, i have an airbrush made by Fineart, model FA-130T. It was cheap but it had a compressor bundled with it and it seems to be doing the job just fine. I need to change the diameter from 0.3mm to 0.5mm so i can paint with polyurethane paint. Everytime i tried to paint with polyurethane clear, the airbrush got clogged in two seconds and i had to completely disassemble it and thoroughly clean it.
What will i need to change the 0.3 to 0.5? Just the nozzle and needle?

For utility coins anyway. Meme coins will probably continue on a more predictable cycle. However we are now entering a period where crypto is becoming more accepted and regulated for financial institutionuse. I believe going forward, coins with actual utility (for example all of the iso complaint coins) will start to break from the typical bear and bull market cycles. Their price factors will include how they are adopted and used, and not only way retail and whale investors are doing.

 | I’m replacing stage 1 grit and have had this pea gravel in there. This is where I’m at after 2 months on stage 1 but have only done 3 grit changes. Any reason I should keep or not keep the gravel in there?
