I have this friend I talk to, who also has the disorder like me and while I enjoy her company as a friend, there is one thing that bugs me. It’s her “X person hasn’t gone through what I did so they shouldn’t say they have the disorder, I had it worse.” attitude and at times being too blinded by the disorder.
I’m not looking to accomplish anything with this post. Just something that’s been on my mind.

I wouldn't prefer making this a long lifestory.. so I'll get straight to the point. I'm currently in a tough spot & just last month i managed to update all my documents & got my PAN card too but now for some unfortunate reasons I'm struggling to pay my rent & manage immediate expenses
I've tried every possible option but with no credit history.. getting even a small loan feels impossible. Am not looking for handouts.. am ready to meet in person provide all my documents or even sign a legal agreement too if needed!!!
I'm thinking to have a BPO job which will help me repay the amount within a reasonable timee. So your support in this situation would genuinelyy mean an ultimate option & I'll make sure to have any kind of agreement we make.

2025.01.19 18:48 richgate Old work websites hosted by Godaddy done in ASP classic simple code suddenly stopped working 500 error.

There are a several .com domains with websites done in ASP classic, physically files located in separate locations, absolutely independently coded. One of them used every day, others sometimes, some almost never. All stopped working suddenly 2 days ago Jan 17th. I called support, they said it is bad code and my problem. After I reasoned with them that all websites stopped working at the same time without being touched and only common thing about them is they all use ASP Classic, some have minimal code in them, they opened a ticket. It is still down. What can it be? It seems they are having trouble fixing it.

I managed to get an earlier appointment to see a neurologist. It's less than a month (not by much) but it's something. I started a new job about 2 weeks ago though. My job won't give me sick days until after 90 days. I was thinking of asking for a day off (no pay) because this neuro is like 2 hours away from me. Do I just tell them a week in advance? How do I even go about wording it? I fear my problem kind of makes me an unappealing candidate. This is a temp job btw.

Good evening, or midday in your time zone!
I will visit Vancouver in April for about 2 weeks and am looking for some insighter tips on what to plan for my trip in advance (thinking of event tickets, train tickets, any sights you need to get tickets for). Also, I am thinking about moving to Canada, lived in Winnipeg for one year and got my High School diploma from there. Seen the worst (sorry to anyone from there) weather wise of Canada, moving to Vancouver would be a dream come true. I plan to visit all viable areas and plan some viewings for apartments to see if the prices are as bad as everyone is saying.. Any tips will be super appreciated!

Hello, as a lifetime Android user (13 years or so), I would like to try an iPhone with the potential of switching completely, and I could use advice about a specific model or specifications.
My concerns about switching are primarily related to getting used to iOS, as I will be completely new to the Apple ecosystem. I don’t doubt that iPhones are better hardware-wise. I’m also used to customizing my phone a lot, though in recent years, this has been limited to just using a different launcher on Android. Of course, I’ve had various iPhones in my hands many times, and I’ve spent a few hours playing with iOS. However, I believe it takes weeks or even months to really get used to a phone and objectively evaluate whether I’m happy with the new device and ecosystem..
I’d like to buy a used iPhone for this test—something with a great value-to-performance ratio that I can potentially sell again if I don’t like iOS or sell to buy a newer iPhone model if iOS wins me over. I’m very rational when buying devices. I don’t need the latest shiny models or tech, so I always buy, let’s say, mid-range phones with a plan to keep them for a long time (currently, I have a Pixel 4a, which I still consider a great phone).
A great phone for me means great camera, great or at least decent battery life, fast and up-to-date operating system (multitasking), gps/maps and mid-sized form factor. I don’t care about gaming, social sites, AI capabilities, stylish designs, or the front camera.
Which iPhone model/specifications would you suggest for me? Thanks!

It's been AGES since I posted here, but I wanted to let you all know that the spreadsheet I have worked SO hard and so long on is finally live for the public. It is also completely FREE. I do ask that you join my Patreon (free tier) simply so you'll know when the next version is published - because there's more coming on it. Currently the spreadsheet focuses on the animals alone, and is in a "beta" release simply because there are some changes and updates I still want to do before I feel it's ready for a FULL release, but it is completely usable and a VERY helpful tool even now. And yes, it is FULLY updated through the newest (Zookeeper's) animal pack.
Please, use and enjoy the sheet. Share it with anyone who might also find it useful. Make a copy and use the trackers, or do whatever you wish with it. Hi All,
Could you help me decide between the Vivoactive 5, Vivoactive 4 and Forerunner 165 (or 55).
I’ve been using my Mum’s old Vivoactive 3, to decide how I get on with a smart watch, but the GPS / tracking seems to have given up - it keeps dying on my runs, and incorrectly measuring pace (vs my phone) - so in the market for my own, new watch.
I’ve signed up for a half marathon, so running 3x a week, based on a Runna plan. I mainly use the watch to show my pace and distance during the run, and to record the route (connected with Strava). I always bring my phone with me, so use that for music. I also gym & play hockey.
In terms of other features - I also like the sleep tracking, but wish I got given a ‘sleep score’ to help interpret. Not a dealbreaker though.
I sway towards the Vivoactive for aesthetics, as I’ll use it when I’m not exercising as a normal smart watch. But, I’ve read a lot of posts recommending the FR165 above the Vivos.

TLDR: Vivoactive 4, 5 or FR165 for a mix of running & sleep stats and aesthetic smart watch.

I've watched that trailer a few times now and I'm baffled by how good it looks. I'm a sucker for angst, and Caleb is quickly wearing away my resolve.
This is the first time I have felt such a strong pull toward a limited card that didn't belong to Sylus. And I wouldn't mind becoming a two-LI girlie... except I can't really afford it lol.
I don't have enough diamonds to guarantee this Caleb card, and I wouldn't mind spending some money if I wasn't pretty sure we'd be getting a multi-banner right afterward. I'm so torn. Cause this is Caleb's first limited card and it looks so GOOD, but I'm worried I'll be sad if I blow through all my diamond savings and have nothing left to pull for Sylus in the next multi.
Like who else is facing this dilemma? Lol. If so, what are you telling yourself to stay strong or are you just going for it anyway?

I have been getting tattooed for some time, first one at 18, now 24 and gotten the majority I have in the last year or so. I love my tattoos, don’t really have any tattoo regret. I don’t mind tattoos that aren’t perfect because they’re art. The thing is though, for a day or two after getting one, I feel like they look bad or I shouldn’t have gotten it or that it looks weird on me. Does anybody else experience this? It goes away, like I said I don’t regret any pieces I have, but I always find it really difficult to adjust to the change.
Anybody know how to get it to go away? Is it just a time thing?
