If it “wasn’t that serious” they wouldn’t be trying to ban it in the first place. Not sure why many of you think you’re above someone just because the TikTok banned doesn’t affect you emotionally or personally. Like there’s plenty of small businesses on there that was thriving due to going live making orders & having products on the TikTok shop. Many people got to attain financial freedom & quit their jobs that they hated because of it when they were being overworked & underpaid. Many gamers that would’ve been overlooked were able to gain a platform & make income off their streamer career jump starting. Many people who animals were on the verge of dying was able to crowdfund money for an emergency vet visit. Many brick and mortar businesses that were empty on a daily basis was able to bring more customers in because of TikTok videos that were made showing the hidden gem of a restaurant. Many people who voices would’ve been overlook on other platforms were able to have a voice on them. Many people who were going through real life shit was able to curate a community with other people who thought that they were alone enduring the same struggles too. Many mom’s who have autistic kids were able to learn trips and find a community with other women who faces their same struggles. Many people learned quick recipes & how to cook from the videos. Many people actually built an online community from TikTok. And many people just simply got the quick dopamine rush of just endlessly scrolling from a fyp and following they curated. Either way, you don’t get brownie points if you didn’t utilize tiktok the way that other people did and if you find joy in other people’s emotional turmoil. People aren’t being dramatic. This is, in fact, a violation of our rights due to some underlying political ploy. And coming on this community thread to spew hatred because you can’t do it anywhere else is even more bizarre while also in the same breathe saying you don’t care about it…..then why are you here???

hello everyone, long story short, i have too many mangas (more than +-1600 titles) and did not organize them as i was getting them. they are all in one folder and every title have its folder with tomes (mostly CBZ files) in said folder. im on windows, i tried a two github builds and failed. in an ideal and magic world i would find an app that can scan my manga folder and fetch metadata based on folder names and then organize it by genre or author. if anyone have a similar issue or ideamplease help me.

Today is day 2 of rehydrating a sourdough discard, my first attempt at sourdough. I’ve baked several sandwich loaves in the past with yeast and they went pretty well but I’m feeling overwhelmed with the sheer amount of variety of how people do things. I’m planning on keeping my sourdough style simple, using the tools I already have and fun.
So I have a few questions that I need some answers for, I keep getting mixed results when searching for these answers to I thought I’d ask here in hopes somebody has experience with rehydrating a sourdough discard.
- On what day should I expect activity and what sort of activity should I be looking for to indicate I’m going in the right direction?
- What feeding time and ratio do you think is best for reactivating a sourdough discard recipe?
- Once/if I achieve an active starter, what do I do with it next? How do I store it, do I feed it still every day? Do I only feed it before baking with it?
- This one seems controversial- lid on tight or just sitting on top? (I’m using a plastic screw lid jar)
- I’ve seen some recipes call for example 150g active starter, my little starter is only around 60g right now, how do I make it bigger in time for baking? Do I just do my feeds without discarding until I’ve reached a good amount (example 200g? Idk)
- What do you know now that you wish you knew at the very beginning

Então, tô nos meus 19 anos, chegando nos 20, estagiario de t.i numa empresa que me estressa demais, fazendo ciência da computação numa particular, e desde criança eu fui considerado "aquele aluno inteligente", ao menos na escola sempre foi assim, até chegar a faculdade, quero me tornar programador, ainda não tenho um ramo exato que quero, só sei que quero passar tempo no computador e ganhar a moeda, mas enfim, eu nunca estudei na escola porque nunca precisou, só calava a boca, olhava pro quadro e GG, meu inglês sempre foi muito a frente do tempo, tenho 22 certificados de cursos profissionalizantes, com 14 anos dei aula numa escola de informática, mas a partir daí a minha vida ficou por isso mesmo, formei no ensino médio, arrumei o trabalho atual e PAREI AÍ, eu simplesmente NÃO CONSIGO aprender, ja tem 2 anos que eu tô na faculdade e mal consigo escrever um código simples em python de cabeça, minha lógica não funciona fora da sala de aula sem o professor falando, ou sem um tutorial do youtube, eu tenho faço tudo na base do chatgptreta, e me frustra demais chegar na faculdade todos os dias e ver uma galera que ja fez 1001 projetos diferentes e ainda botam defeito neles, mas eu fico mais puto SABENDO QUE O PROBLEMA SOU EU
Mês passado eu recebi meu diagnóstico de TDAH, tô usando a grandiosa Ritalina, e ainda não sei se realmente faz efeito ou é um placebo irritante, só me dá dor de cabeça e surto de energia, só que mesmo com esse diagnóstico eu não consigo pensar "ah tá então é por isso que eu não consigo aprender", eu ainda sinto que é preguiça? ou tem alguma coisa me bloqueando, vou fazer uma analogia extremamente estranha mas é EXATAMENTE ASSIM QUE EU ME SINTO
Pensa num motor de carro, que tem a correia dentada, eu sinto meu cérebro como um motor, que com os anos, essa correia foi afrouxando, e eu tenho que forçar o motor exaustivamente até a rotação estourar pra poder fazer essa correia girar um pouco mais
eu sei que sou novo, todo mundo me fala isso, mas eu tenho um peso grande nas costas, que desde pequeno todo mundo tem muita expectativa em mim, eu acho que alguém vai falar "deixa essa expectativa de lado e vive a sua vida" ou algo do tipo, mas eu quero tentar, eu juro que eu tenho muita força de vontade, mas pra tudo que eu quero fazer eu acabo conseguindo me enganar de alguma forma e falhar.
meu maior problema agora? aprender, eu preciso "aprender a aprender", já vi varios videos falando sobre o assunto, mas todos me parecem que não funcionariam comigo, tipo, flashcards, como que eu usaria flashcards em programação?, tem gente que fala pra escrever, eu vou "escrever" código num papel e fingir que tá rodando na IDE?, sei lá viu
se alguém ja esteve nessa situação, e conseguiu sair dela, me dê uma luz, mesmo que possa não ser uma solução, eu quero tentar.

Info: 22M, 6ft 1, 185 pounds. Sexually active with one partner for 6 months.
Symptoms: Ache in right testicle when urinating. Ache also comes on suddenly when walking at rest, coming on suddenly and disappearing after a second. Frequent urination. I do NOT notice any discoloring or tenderness to the touch. I also don’t think it is displaced or misshapen. Minor nausea but not sure if it’s because the stress or not. Minor stomach pain.
Timeline: Partner and I had sex a few days ago, where she grabbed my affected testicle and squeezed. Pain was mild and the squeeze didn’t last very long. The next day was normal. The day after that, I urinated in the morning and noticed the pain but didn’t notice it again until later that night when I urinated again. By this point, infrequent pulse-y ache of both testicles began. This morning, I’ve had to pee 4 times in only 3 hours and I noticed the pain 3/4 times, along with the pulse-y ache.
Other important information: Partner has HSV-1 and I probably do too, but I haven’t been tested in years. She has been my only partner since 2/1/24. The day after the squeezing of my testicle occurred, we had Denny’s, and the next morning I woke up with a horrible stomach ache that went away after an hour. I still feel a minor stomach ache since then.

I'll admit that I've gained a good 10kg the past months while trying various medication and birth control for my endometriosis.... I'm 5'5 and my current weight is 63kg.... and now I'm on short term disability because of my endometriosis but I used to do barre classes and yoga regularly... I walked my 10k step everyday... went to physiotherapy... I'm still doing my anti inflammatory/ low residue diet. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs.... I don't even ask for any pain meds because I don't want to get labelled as a drug seeker whenever I go see a doctor.... I'll admit that I get sugar cravings but aside from that wth? The worst part is she got defensive whenever I ask her what the hell she meant... I just want to get my health back and go to work... this is so depressing
