I’ve been skiing since the late seventies and in the last few years it seems lift ticket prices have gone through the roof. As companies like Alterra buy up properties, lift costs have outpaced inflation.
The last ticket I bought was $165 because I had a discount coupon. Condition were fair and I dropped 7 runs before it was too skied off to be fun.
I used to bring my kids skiing as a great family activity. Five tix in today’s prices would be $825. Who can spend like that? I can’t go broke paying off the debt they assumed to buy out the local owners.

I have been looking to implement schema using JSON LD using various generators and plugins and found out they are very similar except for the way Yoast does it.
Most generators and plugins do not have the "@graph" collections of objects and instead just do it with a single "@type" followed by its properties.

Not sure if a few of you remember but I’ve posted before. Well my beautiful princess is finally home. After getting NEC, having to need 4 surgeries. She has come a long way, and we are home with the g-tube button. I was very scared at first but she’s currently hating the bottle and pretty much anything in her mouth. Hoping to continue with therapy and getting better day by day. 198 days in the NICU.

Hello everyone, I need your help. I don't know what's happening with my printer, it simply stops releasing filament in the middle of printing. I thought it could be a clogged nozzle, but when I remove the extruder and heat the nozzle to do a manual extrusion, the filament comes out easily. So I think the problem may be with my direct drive. Has anyone had a similar problem so they can help me? I don't know what to do.

I am on the hunt for a new ereader. I started with a Nook back in the late 2000s but the past 5 years I've been solely using a kindle paperwhite. I love my paperwhite and do not intend to get rid of it. However, given the state of things, I am looking for an option to have as a backup that houses the books I've purchased independently. I know amazon will update kindle books purchased with any changes by the author. Given amazon's associations, I don't want to risk parts of books or entire books removed from my device. We've seen things like this happen with video games and we learn we don't actually own digital copies of anything. That being said, I am looking for a device where I can manually load my books. I previously dabbled with a kobo, but ended up selling it for the kindle colorsoft (which ended up being returned anyway). I wonder if kobo could have the same possibility of changing or removing books as amazon. As such, I am leaning towards an android device (like Boox), but I've heard mixed reviews. I also worry when the android operating system is no longer serviced. Right now a lot of boox devices seem to be running on android 11 or 12 which is not the most recent OS. If kobo is truly the best option, I have no issue purchasing a kobo.
I'm not going to fight with anyone about politics. I'm simply preparing for the worst.
