Just thought of this while sitting at work, I think it would be a super interesting idea to make a dlc/quest mod where the main character ends up finding one of those super massive cruise ships. Obviously it would be kind of odd that a giant cruise ship just shows up so it could be something along the lines of, this giant ship drifted its way into harbor let’s go see what’s on it, now here’s where it could go two ways, either this ship could be a ship that has lasted since the bombs dropped. They somehow avoided the bombs on the open ocean however the ship basically became a city for these people at this point. Or on the other hand it could be taken as a sudo-horror experience where it’s a completely empty ship a little smaller than far harbour where u can explore, read terminals, run into the the old mister and missus handy’s and tell the story through that. I don’t know I just thought of this and thought I should share as I think it’s a super interesting/fun concept and the possibilities of this as a mod or dlc in a future game could be endless in my opinion.

I'm not doing well guys. My abandonment issues and parental trauma are effecting my relationships and I feel like I have no one to talk to. I'm annoying my partner and my self esteem is about to blow the whole thing up. I don't want that.
I've already started therapy, but a friend of mine found a group therapy they go to every week and it sounds nice. My therapist office has some flyers on the walls for a couple, but they cost. I can't afford anything else. I'm already on low income payments.

2025.01.19 20:50 lamby_geier im gonna be able to move out of the us in a couple years. i plan on going to iceland for college, although there’s other countries im considering as well— this is just on my list. what do i need to know?
long story short im a minor worried about the state of the us and moving out of here for college is my best bet. my family isn't (currently) too bad off. they know I've considered this plan. they don't know all of my reasons (namely that i'm trying to get away from them because they are not good people).
what do i need to know, what would be the requirements? i can give out basically whatever info is needed within reason. i do understand it's REALLY difficult to do but i am willing to do just about anything to claw myself out of the hellhole that is the south.

Console or platform compatibility needed: PC, Android and Switch
Desired features: Wireless,hall or tmr sticks, four back buttons or paddles, two extra shoulder buttons, analog triggers with clicky trigger stops, good dpad and mechanical face buttons(or at least responsive), a good gyro, can map keyboard keys to extra buttons without software. (for Rewasd, using multiple virtual input devices for one controller leads to problems)
Types of games you'll be playing: Mostly Warframe and other third person games
Controllers you've been considering: Gamesir G7pro(?) Machenike G5 PRO v2, Blitz 2
Controllers I've used in order of purchase: Elite Series 2, Apex 2(great for Warframe, but signal issues and drift), EswapX, Apex 3/4, Dualsense Edge, Gamesir Tarantula pro(good sticks, nice amount of buttons(that are hard to reach).
I've been driving myself nuts trying to find a controller with all the my desired features. The main ones that Warframe seems to benefit from are the gyro, hall or tmr sticks, back paddles/buttons(4) and extra shoulders(one to activate gyro, the other for alt-fire right stick click).
Not sure if something like this exists yet, I keep finding things that are close, but usually missing a part of the equation.

Hey folks. I lift weights regularly but don’t regularly stretch and work a desk job, so I feel incredibly stiff, particularly in my hips.
I previously bought a course from “YogaBody” that I saw being advertised on IG. It’s static stretching in 15-minute daily exercises. Should I go ahead and do it or should I instead do something more dynamic?

2025.01.19 20:50 Puzzleheaded_Brick_3 Why did CA disappeared when I changed the eyepiece?
 | So my new good quality plossl eyepieces just arrived and I decided to give them a go right now. Used an Omni 102AZ. So I used the 15mm eyepiece and pointed the scope at some buildings far away and sure enough the outlines of dark tones look purple. Very purple. I guess that’s to be expected right I’m using a short refractor in daylight. Then I switched to the 32mm eyepiece and what a surprise. Chromatic aberration is almost unnoticeable. I went from purple outlines to an image with almost zero false color. The last time I owned a refractor was like 20 years ago and it only came with Huygens eyepieces so I had never tried plossls on a refractor. Is this to be expected? There’s just so much difference between the 15 and the 32mm that I can’t help but think there might be something wrong with the 15mm?? I’m lost here lol.
