I just started the game and the first character I pulled was Firefly, I was lucky and got the E1, so when I'm in enhanced mode I can use the skill for free. My question is the skill gives 25% advanced action, considering that I can always use that, the ideal speed remains 154 or can it be lower?

2025.01.19 23:15 heckyell Runty boss in need of advice. First small tourney and a rule inquiry
'ey ladz, i finally have the army book and have been planning out a 1000 point army for a learners/casual tournament at the local GW early next month and I have a few questions for the more experienced bosses.
I'm planning on going with Zoggrok's Ironmongerz as my army because I already have 40 ardboys and zoggrok and since them (and the ardboy big boss) are my favourites, it feels like the right thing to do. I have the christmas battalion box, the spearhead, zoggrok, 10 additional ardboys and 3 wreckas. Here's what I'm thinking for a list:
Zoggrok ardboys boss
10 Ardboys 10 Ardboys 10 Ardboys 3 Brute ragerz
I feel like this has the spirit of the ironmongerz in it, though I'd still need to buy the ardboy boss. does this look like a good list to starting out? would i have fun in the tournament? not gonna upset anyone?
I have a question, though. the rule about gaining the ward save while wholly within 12 inches of another unit: does the entire unit need to be within 12" of the same unit? Or, let's say i had 2 groups of 10 and 1 of 20, could half of the 20 be within 12 of one 10 man and the other half in 12 of the other and still gain the ward? just trying to figure out how to deploy and move these guys.
I'm still building my Waaagh! and have yet to play anything bigger than spearhead games, so i appreciate any advice. thanks ladz.

2025.01.19 23:15 Alarmed-Key1419 Frustrated and in need of advice.
I hope I am allowed to just vent/rant in this sub cause here I go. If I have to hear one more person tell me “most cases resolve within 6 months” or “you’ll be feeling better in 4-6 weeks” I’m going to lose it. As someone approaching the month 5 mark, no it hasn’t gotten better, and no it hasn’t improved. In fact most days it’s the same 8-10/10 on the pain scale, regardless of whether I am sitting, standing or laying.
Yes, I have had numerous x-rays, doctor’s appointments and an MRI and been prescribed numerous medications (non of which have helped). Which all took about 3 months of persistent calls to the doctor and crying on the phone with them daily just to be added to a waitlist.
I keep telling myself it could be worse, I could not know what’s wrong or it could be worse I could’ve known a pain like this for a lot longer in my life. And I do feel ‘lucky’ for that but the reality is I could say that to myself until I’m blue in the face but it means nothing and does nothing.
I am reaching the end of my rope and I guess just wondering how others cope and stay grounded when dealing with such debilitating, life altering pain. At this point I’ll take any suggestions outside of “PT” (physically can’t), “the back mechanic” (also, physically can’t and it’s causing more frustration) and “hang in there”. Ty.
