not sure if this belongs here, but is anyone else tired of the price tag on beauty services these days?? i used to get a mani/pedi and hair done for under $150. Now that's barely the cost for lashes that will last 2 WEEKS!
I know inflation is to blame, but i feel like the services inflation is much too inflated. What happened? I am too lazy to do it myself, but honestly, i consider this as me time where someone else is taking care of me. Wish there was an easier way to find providers in my price range.

Hello! There is a stay cat in my neighborhood that I am trying to catch and adopt or put him up for adoption, I just don’t want it to suffer in the street. But of course it is fast and suspects of my actions XD. I’ve put food and water outside my house hoping it’ll know it can be found here and stays around longer. I am also thinking about putting a box with some bed sheets in it so it has somewhere to sleep in. I am trying to get its trust, if anyone has some advice that could help me it’d be great.

Already uninstalled and reinstalled, still getting stuck “connecting to online” with a flickering screen every time I try to launch regular multiplayer. I’ve seen several comments explaining a fix through zombies? I cannot get anything to work and it’s been several days.

My work is in person, and they allow flexibility to work remotely when necessary. But I also dont want to abuse the policy as we are expected to be in person unless the reasoning is warranted.
I’m new to the area and don’t have much experience driving in such a cold place. I’m wondering whether it will be safe to drive (esp looking at Monday-Wednesday) with these cold temperatures, or will the roads be super icy?
I don’t want to take the risk if it’s actually gonna be dangerous, but on the other hand don’t want to appear unreasonable to my employer.
Any advice from locals would be appreciated!

Hi all, terrible news 😣 I finally got my serger to work and it was working perfectly until I had a fabric jam. I got everything out, but now the machine no longer sews. When plugged in, the light turns on but nothing happens when I press on the foot 😔. Sending it to the singer repair will cost me enough to just buy a new machine
so I was wondering if anyone’s run into this issue? Am I able to solve this on my own? Might be an internal electrical issue — I also have local sewing repair shops I could try out
