So- GW recently re-boxed the ork Kommandos and they now cost 70$. I understand the SM scouts got the same treatment and I understand GW usually sells scouts in boxes of 5 for 35-50$ depending on different variables.
I'm not very familiar with the lads. Do orks have a box of 5 kommandos?
I'll probably look for the earlier KT edition starter set and get some more scatter terrain.

 | Prius, 5th Gen, base model (LE). The base model LE does NOT come with that nice blue-white LED strip in the dashboard found in the higher Prius models.. So,I bought this USB C LED light. On one side of the USB there are two light apertures, on the other side of the USB is a button to toggle through settings which let you change colors (red, green, blue, yellow, white, etc) and there is even a mode, where you can either have the light stay solid or have it strobe through all the colors. I have the light emitting side facing down on the middle console tray. Hi folks, my company is planning to do a week retreat in Dubai in couple weeks (first time). Some of the employees (female) are required to have a visa, since they are from and lives in countries in Africa. While researching, it seems like the immigration is quite strict especially for tourists from that part of the world. My company will be sponsoring flight/food/stay. My concern is that if asked they won’t have the amount in hand to show (~$1k). I’m willing to provide company bank statements, but obviously their name won’t be showing in there. Company is located in US. Any advice? or Should we just skip dubai for now.

I don't get it. I saw the post saying the game is essentially being reverted to a previous version which will take away playable characters as well as tons of features apparently...but everyone is happy?
I geniunely don't understand and want to understand, but would prefer a TLDR from someone who knows.
i just played this game for a few hours because i got the pack DLC for all characters, but didn't stick with it, so i know next to nothing about the game, why the loss of a bunch of stuff is good, and why reverting to a previous version is considered good.

I saw a specialist for issues related to hypermobility and deconditioning. My appointment was on the 16th of December. They said they'd email me with information about braces/compression wear, as well as a prescription for sleep meds and a referral to a physiologist. It's the 20th of January and I still haven't received anything, neither has my GP. I emailed reception on the 20th of December and again on the 16th of January to follow up. My doctor also contacted them on the 16th of January and was told that my report hadn't yet been completed.
Is this normal? Waiting over a month for a referral and prescription seems excessive. With my GP, I receive these things on the same say as my appointment. Is it different with specialists?

2025.01.20 04:14 Flimsy-Ebb-6764 Writing/plot highlights
I've seen people complaining about the writing in this game, and while there are of course some aspects that could be improved, I thought there were also some really great things about the writing and plot. So I thought I'd share some aspects that I loved!
- Thematic consistency. The theme of regret and moving on and finding a new path forward was woven in a satisfying way through both the main plot and also all the plots for each of the companions, as well as a number of the side quests. I liked how clear and unified that vision was.
- The antagonists. Personally I thought they did a great job of making Elgar'nan and Ghilnan'nain feel scary and dangerous – the way you lose Weisshaupt and so many wardens and barely escape alive and still only just manage to kill her archdemon, for example. And of course Solas is clearly an interesting and emotionally complex antagonist.
- The ending. I think this is definitely the best ending of any game I've ever played. Everything past the point of no return is dramatic, emotional and intense. Winning doesn't feel easy. And if you pick the atonement ending, it ends on a beautiful note which ties all the themes together really well and brings together heroes past and present in a very satisfying way.
- Expanding the world. I enjoyed getting a chance to explore some new aspects of Thedas – Nevarra in particular was fascinating and evoked beautifully. While I know some people were upset that there weren't more references to the Chantry etc, I felt a lot of that territory had been well-explored already in previous games so it was nice to see a different aspect of Thedosian religious traditions.
- Making the team feel like a real team. I loved that all seven companions were present for all the main quests, and shown participating and working together. I appreciated that it wasn't Rook who killed Ghilan'nain or either of the archdemons, so it felt like everyone else in the team also had a meaningful role. And I thought the relationships between the companions outside of Rook developed in ways that felt organic and believable, e.g. I enjoyed the friendship between Neve and Bellara.
- The two twists/betrayals at the end. Personally I guessed one of them and not the other, so I got to both feel smug about figuring it out but also have the fun of being surprised, so it was the best of both worlds for me!
- The way other media is used. I felt that having read Last Flight, and the short stories about Teia+Viago and Antoine+Evka definitely enhanced my experience and made me feel it was worth reading them, but on the other hand you can definitely understand what's going on without reading those things, so I think they got the balance right.
- The codex entries. I was too impatient on my first run and didn't read these in detail, but there's a lot of interesting and beautiful stuff there and I've had a lot of fun delving into them!

A little long so please bare with me.
I 24f came across a guys ig account on my recommended list who I had a crush on in hs and I've been wanting to reach out.
My family moved around a lot when I was a teenager and by the time I reached my 3rd and final high school I was in the middle of the 11th grade during transfer and I guess it's safe to say I did not have many friends at that point. I actually had none. I was burnt out from constantly moving and I was incredibly shy with undiagnosed social anxiety at the time so I kept to myself as much as I could. Everyone had their own friend groups from middle school so it was awkward attempting to make friends. The guy I liked, let's call him A (24m) was pretty well known and popular. He was a student athlete and was kind, just a nice and good looking guy overall. I never really spoke to him so it was a one sided crush until graduation and I never saw him or anyone from my year after that.
That was about 7 years ago, I spent the first few years of my 20s going through a really rough and traumatic timing, unfortunately it took away from the first few years of my youth. I've been seeing a therapist regularly and am in a much better place mentally.
The thought of him randomly came to my mind a couple weeks ago and then I saw his profile on my recommended as i guess we have many mutuals from school, so I thought what the heck, we're adults now, I guess the whole social status in high school is over now and all so why not shoot my shot, since im also working on stepping outside of my confort zone and working on my anxiety. I requested him a week ago and he still hasn't responded to the request so I feel a little overwhelmed. Perhaps he doesn't remember me I'm guessing or perhaps he's just busy with a full adult life. Last I checked he was an engineer so idk I guess there's that.
I asked two people for advice, one being my 19m cousin and my 23f friend. My cousin said to play it cool and just send a simple hey, while my friend said not to message anything at all as the request itself was me shooting my shot. So now idk what I should be doing. I thought I'd send him a message saying "hey, super random but I was wondering if you'd be interested in grabbing coffee or something sometime. Totally okay if not :)"
Idk if being that direct is weird since we weren't really friends and he hasn't responded to my request. I also don't want to scare him off because it's going to be humiliating given how many mutuals we have on our socials.
I also posted this elsewhere and got comments saying im being childish so I'd like to clarify before anyone makes assumptions, I grew up in a narcissistic family with very religious parents. A lot of normal things like crushes, dating, finding someone attractive, or even talking to the opposite gender were a huge no for us. I missed out on a lot of normal things growing up because of trying to keep up with my family's expectations. I've been working on establishing boundaries and doing what's better for me so I guess this would be one of the first few things Id like to do for myself.
Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!
