So if you play Road to CFP… you have probably played against Bama NUMEROUS times. (OSU,Oregon,Georgia also) but In that 10 game season you might play Bama 7x lol.jd
Most people who play with Bama aren’t really that good, they rely on the teams stacked roster to win. They ALL run the same few plays on offense, and some type of Mid Blitz on defense. They use the RBs in some kind of stretch plays, with and option run with Milroe. Milroe, no matter how clean of a hit you put on him, ALWAYS breaks the first tackle, even when he is standing still in the pocket. Then they scramble for 40 years with him. On a pass, the Always bootleg out to the sideline as fast as they can and throw it to Williams, cuz he separates from the DBs super fast.
Here’s I stopped all that.
I Use Texas, they have a super solid team and are good comp vs Bama,OSU,Oregon,Georgia. The O-Line is solid and setup to run the ball, the RBs have mid 80s overall ratings but play well above it. So I used the RBs in stretch plays, over and over. Then throw in some Jet sweeps (pass) to my fastest WRs and use it like a stretch play. Running the ball wins games- it wears down the defense and chews clock, and it sets up a good pass drive. Also tell your O-Line to slide blocking to whichever side your running to. Sounds simple but it Works. Just keep spamming. Also throw off the defense with a Zone Fake Jet Sweep, slide the O-Line, make the defense over pursuit to one side and have the RB run the opposite way with the O-Line clearing the way. Pistol, Goalline and I-Form with overload to one side work best. I dislike running out of Shotgun but the stretch plays work. Anything that gets you to the edge fast. You don’t need home run plays every play. 4-6 yard gain each play is effective. Just keep getting first downs, and then try a deep pass here and there to get the defense to step back a lil bit.

2025.01.20 08:20 WholesomePabs Vent: I misunderstood the goal of the event.
Basically the title, I was going for gold during this event.
It’s my first time attempting to even complete one of these so I made sure to stall this weekend until I had time to grind it out. I started like at 2PM and here I am at 3 AM a failure (I took a couple necessary breaks to spend time with family, run to get groceries, and eat).
After many hours (probably at least 8 dedicated hours) lifting all of the curse and doing all the quests. I cleared everything and finished the quests with 30 minutes remaining on the gold chest. It didn’t unlock, I guess it turns out you ALSO have to complete all the tiers of spooky point rewards. I rush and I made it to the 2nd to last tier before my time ran out for gold.
Problem is, I can’t even go for silver or bronze since I waited until Sunday to start. As soon as gold ran out, it automatically expired both silver and bronze. I can still aim for the consolation prize (simply finishing the points) but I’m honestly pretty defeated and will have to go to work soon anyways.
Well thanks for reading. For those of you who didn’t know, now you do. You have to complete EVERYTHING. Not just lift the curse and do the quests.

2025.01.20 08:20 OxyScottins Why can't i get subtitles on Plex movies without transcoding?
So i THINK i understand that if a movie i have doesn't have subtitles in the original container mkv/mp4/avi file, i can find available subtitles through plex. But they have to be transcoded into the movie file to work. Not sure how correct this is, but at least its what ive seemed to gather?
My main problem is, i have a bunch of movies in other languages, and when i watch them on my laptop, they have subtitles playing just fine (in VLC player),(right click on vlc, subtitles and english or forced english is selected, and works fine.
Then i through same file onto plex, play it (Roku),, i go and select the english subtitle thats available on bottom left of screen, but the subtitles just never appear unless i go into options and force transcode??
What am I missing?!
Any help MUCH appreciated. TIA!

My ferret has been very sick lately, losing tons of weight and function in his back legs. We've been taking him to the vet very frequently - about once a month. Two weeks ago we noticed that he had chewed his tail until it bled, and by the time we were able to get him to the vet it was black. She thought it was totally dead, but because of his weight issues she didn't want to put him under anesthesia to amputate.
Well, he decided that he didnt want to wait, and he tore it off himself - about an inch of tail gone, I found it in his bed.
We already have a vet appointment tomorrow at 4pm so I know he'll get seen and taken care of but I'd like to know what I can do for him in the meantime. I cant see any exposed bone but I can't imagine there isn't any, and i can tell it's painful for him to have it in that way. I've just never treated a wound on that scale and I don't know where to start. Does anyone have recommendations for care for the next 16 hours?

I will be working from home, and am not too fussed about traffic as I dont have a car and walk a lot, our biggest concern is safety. I had a tonsillectomy in early December for tonsils stones. Its currently mid January and im still having the exact same symptoms i had pre surgery. Breath isnt minty fresh after brushing teeth, feel like i have something in my throat, a really salty taste in my phlegm. I suffer really bad with post nasal drip and my diet is still pretty much the same as before surgery (i eat “quite” unhealthily you could perhaps say and i do drink a lot of coke 2 cans a day). So I could just be overthinking it but im really not confident im rid of tonsil stones and actually pretty fucking pissed off in all honesty given how much money the surgery was.
