2025.01.20 04:14 Belfserk Gruff Triplets just won me 7-0 WOE Quick Draft. What are your thoughts on that card?
I'm quite new to draft games, played maybe a couple of drafts already and joined new WOE Quick Draft.
What I noticed is that card named Gruff Triplets was a finisher in almost every game and I was wondering if it sees any competitive play and there is a deck using it? Last time I was playing MTGA was around 3 years ago and I used to play Izzet control deck.
What are your thoughts in general for this card? At least in draft games it seemed like a card that's actually does something great for it's cost, helping either stabilize the board or push forward if I am ahead.
Also worth mentioning that it did great in combination with Stockpiling Celebrant. Celebrant was also great with Redtooth Genealogist carrying through early game and having multiple copies of both of them helped to draw them pretty consistently.
