Vi fik for ~2 måneder siden nye overboer der desværre støjer ret meget med deres trin. Det runger ned i vores lejlighed specielt i morgen og aften timerne hvor der ellers er stille. Det lyder til kun af være kvinden i parret der forsager det, måske fordi hun går rundt med sko på eller bare træder tungt?
Vi har selv boet i bygningen i ~4 år og har aldrig haft problemer før og lagde sjældent mærke til den tidligere overbo.
Er det helt tonedøvt at skrive et lille brev til dem? Vi har været oppe og snakke kort med dem allerede men i andre sammenhænge. Det vigtigste for os er egentligt trinlyden.
Noget i denne stil:
Kære X og Y,Så ja, er det helt dumt eller ok?
Vi håber i er faldet godt til og har fået en god start på 2025! Vi har haft fornøjelsen af at bo her i fire år og elsker bygningen, men vi er også blevet bekendt med dens særheder - især at lyd meget nemt bevæger sig mellem etagerne.
På det seneste har vi bemærket tunge fodtrin ovenfra der kan høres meget tydeligt i vores lejlighed, særligt tidligt om morgenen og sent om aftenen.
Vi forstår selvfølgelig fuldt ud, at I bare følger jeres daglige rutiner, og vi respekterer naturligvis jeres ret til at bevæge jer frit i jeres hjem. Men eftersom I måske ikke er klar over, hvor meget lyd der bæres igennem i denne gamle bygning, ville vi gerne gøre jer opmærksomme på det.
Vi ville være meget taknemmelige, hvis I kunne være opmærksomme på tungere fodtrin, især i de mere stille timer. Simple ting som gulvtæpper, sutsko, eller blot være opmærksom på, hvor tungt man træder, gør en stor forskel!

just got ig results, definitely good enough for a normal uni if i get these grades in A levels but asking in case i lock in and get really good grades in A levels and aim for something higher (oxbridge/ivys)
my grades are
79 in maths (0580) 75 in chem (0620) 70 in bio (0610) 63 in eng lit (0475) 62 in geo (0460)
3Bs and 2Cs
havent even started AS yet but if i want to get into an ivy league and lets say i have enough extra cirriculars and a decent written essay and i get 5 As / 3-4 A 1-2As in AS and 3 As / 2A 1A in A2, would i still have a chance at getting in an ivy/oxbridge or are my igcses far too low.

2025.01.20 08:29 goolagoons Just 1 or 2 drinks make me panic?
So I’ve dealt with anxiety, depression and panic disorder off and on pretty much my whole life. I’m now 26, and I used to smoke weed pretty much every evening to chill out and help with sleep. However I’ve been clean from it for a little over a month which has been fine. I don’t drink much, just socially on occasion and rarely get to the point of being super drunk. Alcohol has always made me physically not feel great, as I suffer from migraines as well. I also had horrible anxiety post drinking while in college. Last night I had three drinks over the course of a like 6 hours, and woke up in the middle of the night in a panic attack: vommitted, hyperventilating, headache and the shakes.
I’ve really struggled with not being able to just enjoy a couple drinks here and there socially like other people my age. It really bothered me more in college, but even now at 26 I’m frustrated that my body betrays me even when I’m not binging the alcohol and just wanting a social fun drink on occasion.
Anyone else have this issue? I’ll also note I’m not on any medications currently, but I’ve been more stressed and depressed than usual because I’m recently unemployed.

Okay so, i am new to coding. I was just a teenager when I first started. However, even if I do have some broad computer knowledge, I have zero (well, I can code basic not advanced) knowledge in the actual coding. And if I have very innovative idea for myself, maybe non-addictive platform, I use ChatGPT. Or claude. All the time. I am an AI addict. And am I a loser for that? Like sometimes, writing it myself seems pretty lazy. I know for in fact I should not be lazy but that is just the way I am literally built. What should I even do? Because some say AI is bad or good or something, and I have no idea should I continue to learn coding Python(or other language) using it or actually fully learn it without using AI ever. Help
