My wonderful boyfriend bought me a matcha basic for Xmas and after 30 minutes I get an eye strain. Before this, I read on a paperwhite since 2021 and could read for hours with no strain.

2025.01.20 05:26 InevitableHaunting90 I feel horrible for saying mean things to my baby
My baby's a beautiful boy and there isn't anything in the world I would trade him for. My son just turned one and earlier today he screamed and through a fit because I told him nicely to not touch something (plus he was a bit tired). It made me really angry and I even said I wished he was never born, that I hated him, and even said I wanted my old life back.
This isn't the first time it happened either. Just when he was a few months old I said all those same things before. And feel like a terrible parent for even saying such things. I'm calm now and seeing him laugh and smile when he sees me broke my heart. He's just a baby and didn't deserve all the things I said to him, he doesn't know better.
My mom was verbally abusive to me growing up and I vowed that one day when I had kids I would never treat them the way she treated me. Yet here I am doing the exact thing she did and turning into her when boy is just a baby. Sometimes I feel like it would be best for him to have a better parent.

2025.01.20 05:26 TheAlbrecht2418 I’m starting to think there’s some credence to baking soda in the water for boiled eggs for easy peels?
Or is it somewhat plausible it’s relevant to the bird flu thing? I feel like no matter what eggs I bought in the past, if I put like a tablespoon of baking soda into the water they’d come off in whole pieces cleanly. I’ve used the same method I always do for time and size and since I haven’t had baking soda handy I’ve noticed they come off in smaller fragments. I’ve bought a wide variety.
Also before someone mentions it yes I’m aware of the pressure cooker method being a solid option, I’ve done it with good results, just been too lazy to get it down lately. I’m more wondering if anyone else noticed the baking soda trick is legit and maybe if they have a scientific backing. I’m getting more baking soda tomorrow lol.
For the record, I do boiling water in a 2 qt sauce pan then add the eggs and boil for around 7 minutes for medium boil and 12 for a full cook.

In these screenshots it shows me placing down a Pistonless 0-6-0 Driver bogey, and it's supposed to have two different sizes. But when I right click the track to cycle to the larger wheels, they don't appear at all. Is there any way I can fix this? Faz um ano que conheci um cara pela internet, e pasmem, foi no Hablet (a versão pirata do Habbo Hotel, kkk). Podem me julgar à vontade, eu aceito. No começo, senti uma química muito forte com ele. Jogávamos juntos, assistíamos filmes e séries, e parecia que tudo estava perfeito. Mas com o tempo, comecei a perceber que ele tinha o hábito estranho de deletar todas as conversas, em todas as redes sociais, como no Discord, WhatsApp, e por aí vai. Quando questionei, ele disse que era uma mania e que até o pai dele fazia a mesma coisa, mas eu ainda fiquei desconfiado. Cheguei a pensar que ele poderia ser alguém com intenções duvidosas, como sequestrar ou algo assim, sei lá.
Por outro lado, ele me mandava dinheiro de presente e até compartilhava alguns dados pessoais, e minha mãe já sabia que eu conversava com ele, então, de certa forma, eu estava "tranquilo". Mesmo ele sendo mais velho que eu, ainda assim sentia um certo receio. Desde criança, fui ensinado a ser um pouco paranoico em relação a essas coisas e a esperar o pior das pessoas, especialmente aquelas que parecem muito legais comigo, porque sempre achei que algo ruim poderia acontecer.
Teve uma época em que eu estava simplesmente cansado de conversar todos os dias e acabei mandando uma mensagem dizendo "não estou afim de conversar muito hoje". Depois disso, não falei mais com ele por um tempo. Ele acabou me bloqueando, apagou as conversas e cortou qualquer tipo de vínculo. Eu me senti culpado por ter agido assim, por ser tão paranoico, e por ter, de certa forma, "sumido" sem explicação. Agora, sinto muita falta dele e, de vez em quando, ainda entro no Hablet com a esperança de encontrá-lo.
Tentei me desculpar em uma das plataformas em que ele ainda não me tinha bloqueado, mas ele só visualizou a mensagem e não respondeu. Acho que mereci essa atitude dele, e aceito que ele não queira mais falar comigo. Mesmo assim, todos os dias penso nele e no que poderia ter sido diferente. Ele parecia gostar de mim pela minha personalidade, e nunca me pediu para mostrar meu rosto, o que me fazia sentir que, talvez, ele me apreciasse por quem eu sou, e não pela minha aparência.
Agora me sinto perdido e até meio que esperando já um resultado daqui. Sinto medo de que nunca vou ser amado daquela forma de novo. Achava ter encontrado a pessoa certa e ainda acho que era. E meio que a culpa é minha

Eae galera, atualmente eu estudo (aparentemente falar de curso é proibido), esse caminho mais padronizado de front/back me parece meio furada no momento, (pra juniores), então eu tava contemplando algumas outras oportunidades, então preciso de uma ajuda!
tava pensando em algo com automação ou cloud, como suporte em cloud ou engenheiro de automação (script) até mesmo aquela galera que faz it com instalação de software e hardware ( por mais que eu duvide um pouco do avanço de carreira)
analista de dados me parece uma boa, mas admito que tá em segundo plano, ja ate arranjei alguns certificados em aws pra me ajudar em cloud e alguns com i.a pro dia-a-dia ( aws skill builder foi a melhor coisa que achei na minha rápida procura)
também tem a área de embarcados que acho maneira, mas essa eu nem sei se dá realmente como estagiário
eu não sei se são coisas que realmente eu poderia trabalhar em cima, então tenho medo de estar perdendo muito tempo... eu agradeço qualquer ajuda!

I've only spend $46, (0.99 on Kim, $5 on Taylor, and $20 on 2 battle passes for air heroes). Does anyone have a clue how quickly I can get there. I was only at 16% on SF 3 days ago when I started to really focus on it. We are at day 94 and I'm currently HQ 27. I had someone tell me that in their old alliance for low spenders it was often around the end of season 1. Anyone else have an idea? I'm trying to beat that estimate by as much as I can, but won't be spending any more money.

Hi friends, I made a docker container for fast deployment of a Personal Data Server.
This isn’t intended to be a replacement for the official container. I just wanted to be able to quickly setup and run a PDS instance, and figured others may benefit from my work.
With this container I was able to purchase a domain, deploy, and have a functioning PDS in ~20 min. A little biased since I built it but I figured it worth mentioning.
