Does anybody know how the above mentioned lens works with the Canon R7.& R8? I've found it at what I assume to be a pretty good price.& the EF version, around $400 with the hood.& was wondering if it'd be worth getting for wildlife photography? I know it's pretty old, so I don't know if any of it's flaws will be accentuated on something like the R7 with such a demanding sensor from what I've heard or if there will be any issues when using it with the Canon adapter. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I was thinking about how to make sense of the seasons in Game of Thrones. First, I know GRRM said something like, "this kind of explanation is looking in the the wrong direction", but I still think it is fun 🥳
If Westeros and essos sit at around 50°N at the Summer Solstice and it shifts 51°N from then till the Winter Solstice this would put northern westeros at 71.2906°N, central westeros at 90°N and southern westeros at 71.2906°N at the Winter Solstice...They would experience many days where the sun doesnt rise in winter. If the planets axial tilt changes slowly, this would explain the long seasons. The irregular length of the seasons would be explained by an irregular axial tilt rate.
In GoT the show, Ned stark states, "the days are getting shorter". This is what you would expect if the planets axial tilt was changing, moving westeros towards either the north or south pole slowly.
Perhaps the moon or a nearby orbiting planet has an eccentric or unusual orbit that would explain the change in the rate at which the axial tilt changes.

I am trying to install librewolf on my m1 mac, and i got the damaged message. Tried to use the xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/LibreWolf fix in terminal and all it said was that theres no such file. Not very tech savvy at all am i missing something here?

so recently on another topic I was mentioning how rinsing your penis with alkaline water after questionable sexual partners could lessen the chances of std's.
this led me to, would the same apply to rinsing your mouth after meals where you don't have access to a toothbrush. so I researched this and there is suite a bit of positive reviews on this and it's benefits. so just keeping a bottle of alkaline water in your car and doing a good swish and spit could be beneficial. anybody else doing this?
my background is a cook and we use a alkaline cleaner to sanitize food prep areas and was wondering does this have other applications.
