I've never watched a Lynch movie yet and I decided I'm going to watch all of them (or atleast the most popular ones).
I was about to watch Blue Velvet today but thought I should watch some of his short films to get into the right mood.

This is not so much of a poem as it is the truth my mind needed to write in the moment. I am compelled to share it because of the clarity I felt while writing it. I ended things with my ex gf yesterday after 7 years because she cheated, but our relationship was toxic and I should have known it is for the best. Still, I have feelings that I can only express through writing. Sorry for the ramble.
Thank you for letting me go. The love I had for you was stifling. Contaminating every crevice of my heart, Making it so that I couldn’t think of anything but loving you. But now that I’m free, I realized how restricting it was. The love I had for you didn’t allow me to grow as a person. It was captivating to a point that I didn’t know what a friend was, what relationships were. The only thing that mattered to me was us. Even if that meant putting my own mental health to the side. Even so, I thank you for letting me go, not because I’m happy our relationship is over, but because I have realized that you have given me freedom to become the man I am suppose to be. So once again, thank you for letting me go so I don’t have to waste away in the memories of us.

 | I just rewatched the Onderon arc. Most interestingly, the Jedi were debating the ethics of training insurgent groups and framed it as an experiment. During the arc, they clarified the rebels needed to win without intervention. In the end, the rebels were able to liberate Onderon with aid of Ahsoka and Anakin (providing weapons from Hondo)… which brings my question, did the Jedi council deem the "experiment" as a success?  | I’ve had this variegated shield aralia for 4 months. I’ve repotted it once due to some millipede problems. It was doing really well and it’s been one of my favorites plants but lately it’s been drastically losing all it’s leaves. New ones grow but after it’s fully grown it starts to die and eventually fall off. The last picture is how it used to look like a little before it started losing its leaves. I water it when the soil is pretty much completely dry. It gets good amount of sun everyday from a south facing window. It is in chunky soil. The roots grew out a lot faster than I thought they would after I repotted it so I’m thinking it’s losing its leaves because it’s root bound? Or there might be some kind root rot issue that I’m not seeing from the outside. I’ll probably try check its roots inside once I try to figure out how to prune it. A pteranadon followed my pack of 8 omniraptors for a while until 4 carnos wiped out half of us. I was stuck on top of a rock with another Omni and surrounded by the carnos but the pteranadon brought me fish to keep me fed until we had a chance to run free. Ended up losing the ptera but made it to north lake where I raised 5 omnis, since one got picked off by a solo carno :(

My partner and I both submitted claims for the same vaccine received at a non Kaiser facility and they got a full reimbursement less $10 and I only got reimbursed for half. My coworker (who has the same plan) also got the same vaccine elsewhere and got all but $10 back. I plan to appeal and was wondering about the best way to plead my case (online through messages, or via mail/fax) and will it help my case at all to cite other people I know with the same plan who got reimbursed differently?
I’m super annoyed I even half to do this and don’t really understand how this discrepancy came about.
