Currently reading Deadpool (2019) and after his whole rant about krakoa in issue #6 I’m a little more interested in reading more about krakoa (and what they meant about rogue being a lighthouse and a tree???) does anyone have any good reading guides?
Ps I know this isn’t the right sub but why did the art style change so drastically between issues 4 and 5 of Deadpool 2019?

I’m 23F. I’m just now starting my OCS packet. I have a 2 definitive LORs from a county sheriff and physician I work with who’s prior service. My recommended I get another LOR from someone’s who a major or higher in the army to really make my packet stand out. Is this true?
Here’s some more background: Bachelor’s degree in Health Science . 3.7 GPA Currently working on my Masters degree in Healthcare Management. Projected to graduate in 2026 Going to MEPS tomorrow for my physical.
What else should I know about the process?

I posted a couple days ago about my beloved dog passing. It has been horrendously difficult for my family to deal with. My mother is in absolute tatters over it, and I don't know how to help her. I believe she was my mothers soul dog.
But the other things I worry about is if I could have saved her, treated her better and the crazy worry that she wasn't actually dead and we buried her alive.
Let me go over the story.
We got my dog over a decade ago, she has been a part of our family and our everyday lives for so long, so her absense is definitely felt. We had taken her to the vet several times over the years, but never recieved any news that was too bad. She had some arthritis (which we treated with drops in her food and it seemed to help) and some issues with her ears, that the doctor claimed caused her to be somewhat deaf. But she was a pretty healthy dog. I can't remember if she had any other prognosises, as my parents were the ones who usually took her to the vet. But if so, our doctor never warned us of anything fatal to look out for.
She was the best, most patient dog. She loved begging us for food, giving us kisses, relaxing on our beds or clothes piles, going for walks, she was wonderful. My heart aches without her.
But sometimes I think about the ways we failed her. Sometimes we got mad or irritated at her. Even the night before she died, we got frustrated because she would whine and was throwing up.
She had dealt with minor bouts of sickness before. Throwing up bile or something like that, and not wanting to eat, but she would get better after awhile.
This time, she was throwing up often, mostly something that looked like foam or clear liquid.
My sibling was having difficulty trying to sleep in the same room as her while she was sick, so my sibling moved to the couch. I placed our dog on my siblings bed and closed the door. She seemed okay when I was in the room, but would whine when I left. Eventually I opened the door so she could wander around and see us if she wanted. She went to my moms room and laid on the floor, like she often did. I checked on her a few times and eventually went to bed.
The next morning, I was awoken by someone(? Can't remember who in my family it was) telling me she was dying. Me, my dad and my sibling gathered around her. My mother was in the other room, she was obviously upset about her being close to death. My dog was laying on the bathroom floor and we sat in there with her. I eventually got on the floor and we pet her, talked softly to her and just tried to be there in her last moments. I can't remember if I was right with her as she died or if I was comforting my mom, but I was nearby either way. Her breathing slowed down and eventually she was gone.
We bundled up, as it's cold here. My dad found a box we had, and me, my sibling and father headed outside. I held her body for a long time, snuggling it and speaking to it. My dad found a place to dig a hole, dug until the box could fit. I put her in the box, we closed the flaps, we covered the box with dirt and my dad prayed over her. My dad put a stake in the ground near where we buried her, so we could find it when we build a memorial for her. Her little body felt so heavy as I brought her out and held her, because she was limp. Her eyes were open and she didn't make a sound or move.
It has felt so wrong for her not to be here. We are going through the awful grieving process.
I guess what I'm asking for is reassurance. That we didn't fail her as pet parents, and that she was truly gone when we buried her. The thought of burying her and her not being dead would eat me alive.
Reassure me that she's safe, and that I'll see her again. Give me advice on how to help my mom and sibling with the awful pain they are feeling. Give me advice for my own pain. Just please help me. 💔

Obviously, the subreddit has a rule of "No asking if you're Autistic. We can't diagnose you." The problem I have is this is what many people are doing but wording it differently as an attempt to skirt the rule.
"I'm not asking anyone to diagnose me. I just want to see what everyone's opinion is. Here's my life story." Yes, you are. You're asking everyone for their opinion on if you're Autistic based on a bunch of perceived symptoms. That's the same thing as "Am I Autistic?" but with more words.
"I'm going to ask a psychologist but I want to make sure it's worth the effort first. Here's three pages of symptoms I think I have." That's the same thing! If you're going to ask a psychologist, then there's no need to ask us.
"I took some online tests that say I might be Autistic. What do y'all think?" What we think is you should ask a psychologist.
"My small child is doing this list of things and I'm concerned they may be Autistic." We're not diagnosing your kid. You should express your concerns to a pediatrician.
"I think my (person) is Autistic because they do this list of things. What do y'all think?" We're not diagnosing them, either. You think they're Autistic? Ask them or recommend them to a good psychologist.
If the community weighing in with their opinion influences your decision to seek evaluation or not, then what you're doing is looking for people to diagnose you. You can call it whatever you like but that's still what you're doing.
There's a difference between seeking information/guidance and seeking answers. What most are doing is seeking answers. We can't give you answers. If you want answers, ask a psychologist.
Also, "Is this a sign of Autism?" Yes. Nothing is unique to Autism, meaning anything can be a sign of Autism. It's not the symptoms alone that define it.
