2025.01.20 11:15 Key-Fault9075 Is UIUX designer a reasonable career for someone who is disfigured?
I really enjoy making designs and I consider myself reasonably talented.
I am worried that, it might be too social job that requires me to make good first impression on sttrangers. I have some disfigurements on face that strangers may react. I tried to accept my face as it is, but I constantly worry that it will be an obstacle in my dream career.
Is UIUX designer roles are reasonable for someone like me?

2025.01.20 11:15 No-Base8204 Has anyone had any luck with L-Theanine?
I heard the day before. I randomly drank some green tea (I haven't in ages) and looked up the benefits for it and discovered it had L-Theanine. I heard L-Theanine is good for your brain, cognition, and mental health.
I know some people with depression take it. But since I had bad luck with Omega-3 and NAC I thought supplements was a miss for me.
However last year I got an Iron-Free supplement (which include the same vitamins found in a B complex and others), magnesium, and Vitamin D3 and I noticed it helped with my depression. I was shocked. I guess it meant I was having deficieny.
I wonder the issue is because in the U.S supplements aren't regulated. That means one works better than others. Some may not work at all.
Now I'm up to try L-Theanine. I heard it's also good for anxiety.
I guess my supplements helped me because I was deficient in them. So they worked quickly. I also heard Omega-3 can take months? to work. I didn't take them long enough. I remember during the pandemic supplements made my depression worse. I think it's due to one of the ingredients. So it was a surprise the supplements I started three months actually helped me. But then again, I am on different medications and I did kind of had better external factors in my life that kind of contributed to it. (like being more busy)
Does L-Theanine works fast? I think it works fast for L-Theanine about what about depression.
I know with my mental health I impatient. It does make sense. It's hard to cope and make it through the day when you know it will take a while to get better. Like when you start a new medication for example.
Anyways, I hoping to hear positive experiences from those who had taken L-Theanine. From my understanding it's an amino acid, correct?
