As a 90’s baby I’m a bit confused as to what’s going on with these new Pokémon cards and why they hold any value. As far as I was aware, the OG cards were valuable because they were super rare after being neglected for decades so find them was like coming across treasure.
These new cards you can literally at this very moment buy off the rack of a Costco. Why are they worth anything more than MSRP?

Hey Uk Enthusiasts,
Have an issue thats wrecking my head at the moment.
I'm flying over to the UK on Wednesday from Ireland and I'm struggling to find temporary Car Insurance that will cover me to drive from Nottingham to Hollyhead to bring it back on the ferry to Dublin.
Does Anyone have any recommendations?
Also I know it's pretty relaxed over here in Ireland if you have just bought a car but if it has no MOT or TAX do the police give you any leeway?

I’m just starting to try out Bermuda on an ESP32 device and have it tracking my Apple Watch using Private BLE Device. At the moment I have two ESP32s, one in the living room and one in the dining room. The area that my watch is shown in will reflect correctly for a second, but immediately change back to unknown. I can’t seem to get it to stay. Anyone experienced this and have any advice?

2025.01.20 11:09 ElectricalPlane3882 Need Help for my GF‘s Bo6 / Invalid Install Path
So my girlfriend just bought Bo6 on Steam but cant run it. When i click on play it seems to start for like 5s and then just acts like it never was opened.
The bootstrapper.log says "invalid install path"
I‘ve been browsing reddit and the web for hours now and nothing seems to fix this problem, or better said no one talks about this logfile error.
Does someone know a fix for this? I dont have that error for me and how is this possible with such a big game? Im starting to loose my mind…

Já notaram como filmes mainstream ultimamente estão todos jogando muito no seguro repetindo fórmulas e sem inovar. Pois bem, isso tem motivo: com filmes muito caros de produzir, estudios nao podem arriscar, nao pode lançar um filme que nao de o lucro esperado. E como dar prejuizo com filmes de orçamento de 300 milhoes é muito pior do que num filme de orçamento de 1 milhao, os estudios optam por jogar numa formula que vai ter certeza de lucro.
Dito isso, sou favoravel à ideia de filmes com efeitos especiais de menor orçamento se isso significasse uma melhor qualidade como um tudo. Dane-se o casting só com famoso, não importa se a roupa do heroi parece cosplay, o CGI porco de "Thor amor e trovao" nao foi o motivo do filme ser uma bomba.
Se pudessemos, nas produções de cultura pop. ter filmes de menor orçamento mas que arrisca algo, que fosse assim!

Hello! My wife and I are very excited to be visiting Maui in a few weeks. Due to our hotel check in time being 4, we decided to drive up to the summit after we land (and maybe after finding something to eat) which after getting our rental car would put as at the summit around 12, give or take. Neither of us really care if we miss out on sunrise/sunset, we just would like to see the crater and avoid the busier times up there. Been looking at some older posts and I understand clouds can start to roll in after the morning. Is that something that usually starts to clear up in the afternoon or does it typically linger until closer to sunset? I imagine it also might be one of those things that just “depends on the day”
