To the creators of the game, since I do see them posting here:
I've been the game many times on Nightmare 3 with a teammate and finally conquered it solo today, so I'm at least not some complete noob who has no idea what they're talking about trying to propose balance changes.
The subclass of guns that fires in groups of three for their basic attack and then rapidfire as their special heat attack was the first weapon in the game that really drew me in. After trying to make it work and compete with other similar weapons (such as the bow) it just always falls short and ultimately doesn't work the way someone would expect it to.
Please make the special heat attack shots count as basic attacks.
That's it. That's all the machine guns need to not feel like the most neglected weapon class in the game. The attack looks as though it's firing basic attacks. The damage per bullet is (about?) equal to the basic attacks'. By the endgame, the special attack can easily completely replace the basic attack and have 100% uptime. Why does the machine gun's rapidfire attack not register like it's basic attack?
Why does it need this? because the most powerful red builds in the game rely on a mix of flat AD, crit scaling, and basic attack effects such as the one on the broken demon blade. The alternative would be to build heavily into rune slash, but it's strictly weaker in terms of DPS. Machine guns want to be using their special attack, but they can't utilize thee most powerful red items in the game with their special attack. Not only does that make them weaker, but it makes them feel like they don't work the way they should. To add insult to injury, Since machine guns want to constantly be using special attack, they don't even work with the lucky bullet inscription. They also don't work as well with the grenade inscription as, say, the shotgun. The game in its current state does not support the machine-gun class of weapons.
There is even a precedence for alternative attacks counting as a basic attack: the two-handed weapon whirlwind. It proc all basic attack effects, but it is technically still just a charged version of the basic attack so that might not be a good enough example for some. How about the dual blade's inscription attacks? Those attacks are bound to jump and dodge and I know at the very least the dodge attack counts as a basic attack. If the scaling ends up the being off then just lower the numbers. It's more important for weapons to act intuitively than it is for the game to be immediately balanced.
Machine gun subclass of weapons may be the most neglected weapon type in the game. Not only do they have the fewest options in total weapon choice, but they also don't even function with a large portion of AD-scaling items. This leads them to being weaker than other weapon types and all-around just feeling worse.
I want to use machine guns, but how they work right now they just aren't worth using. Thank you for your time.

Ever since I (20F) found out I was pregnant my boyfriend (32M) was over moon. But now 4 months in, I just feel like a vessel carrying his child.
I feel like we don’t communicate as much as we used to about where we’re both at anymore. We don’t go out on dates or eat out for dinner anymore. He doesn’t hug me, or kiss me as much as he used to, or check up on me on how I’m doing.
We rarely spend time doing something together that isn’t watching TV or running errands. I really miss doing activities with him.
He told me that I don’t dress up like I used to (pre-pregnancy), but I can’t really fit anything or find comfort in my “nice” clothes. So, I just wear sweatpants 24/7 now.
I really struggled with the first trimester, but I felt like I couldn’t voice out what was happening or how much I struggled because he works 12-hour shifts and makes all the money in our relationship.
I barely ate during the first trimester because I felt so sick 24/7 and I lost weight too, now he just mocks me for how much I’m eating now my appetite is back and how much money it costs him to feed me.
I’ve been struggling a lot with my parents being unsupportive of my pregnancy, too. He refuses to get involved which makes the whole situation feel more stressful. I just wish he’d have my back.
He drinks a lot more now, and is drunk on his days off, and “jokingly” blames me for his drinking habit, but I can’t help but feel that it adds fuel to the flame.
When we talk, we either talk about the baby, parenting, or we argue.
I’m so tired of feeling invisible. It makes me regret being pregnant in the first place.

 | Hello! Thank you in advance for your time. I’m not sure how to start this so I was hoping to see if there is any insight within my charts that someone can provide me. Recently with some pondering, I realized I feel as though I’m very rigid and flexible in character at the same time….? If you asked me to describe myself, it’s hard — I hesitate because I see my self as strong person, but I feel I am just as weak. I struggle with the duality of my character and thus I feel as though I am forever importer syndrome to myself? As in.. I can be ‘stand your ground and be firm’ but also shivery leaf like ‘oh dear lord I don’t want to get people or cause chaos’. I have a hard time cutting people off because I consider their situation and perspective, but at the same time I’m also cut throat and ground myself on reality. And I can’t help but try and search for a universal scale lol (in my head like gaaaaahhhhhh what is fair and right) I cannot remember for the life of me whether I was born AM or PM, so I have included both charts. My husband grew up poor. FIL’s job literally shut down decades ago and he got pension and never worked again, but it can’t be that much pension because, again, my husband grew up poor. MIL was a stay at home mom for the most part and worked as a CNA in her later years. She gets social security money now and I just don’t understand how it enables her to act like she’s some sort of millionaire matriarch. She keeps pushing to pay for my oldest to go to “private school” and says she’ll pay for it, which I’m extremely uncomfortable with because I know she’ll cross boundaries and it’ll be hard to stand up to her because she pays for our sons school. (Thankfully we already have school figured out because our son is in early intervention so we declined) But she at first wanted him to go to a private school she picked out near her and an hour away from where she lived and said my son would come and “keep her busy” basically meaning our son would live with her while he went to school and she could play mommy.
She already spends literally hundreds of dollars on boxes of frozen meat every few weeks, like sashimi grade salmon and crab legs, and uses that to try and stay in our lives. She tried to send my husband $5,000 to help pay for my car (he declined) and now she’s pushing to pay a whole private school tuition for my son? She’s also constantly buying clothes, perfume, and purses, and spending thousands on jewelry
I know nothing about social security but how tf is an ex SAHM turned CNA paying for all that with social security? Is it even legal? Is she just gathering credit card debt and not caring because, as she says, she’s “going to die soon” (she’s like 65 but won’t shut up about being “too old” to make everyone else feel bad for her) I wouldn’t care what MIL did with her money if she wasn’t constantly throwing it around trying to control my family. How is it legal for a social security recipient to pay for her grandchildren to go to private school??? Is there something I’m missing?

I lost my Garmin vivosmart4 in hospital last week. I used to do a lot of cardio sports so found it simple to use for tracking activities and monitoring heart rate.
Recently I've had some health issues and used it for tracking heart rate etc. Sadly I lost it, but was having issues with it disconnecting from Bluetooth and needed to be reset up each time, even if it was just my phone disconnected from it when turned off or it ran out of battery, so basically it was on its way out regardless.
I'm trying to find one that to help with my long term recovery from a nerve injury, so still has tracking of activities, heart rate, etc but can set reminders for taking medications, more interactive with activities such a yoga and physio, timing sets etc.
My budget is around £50 and I'm considering getting a refurbished one for this reason too as they're not too hard to find alone.
Any recommendations? ☺️
