Questions: 1. Can I add say 2k one day and a few months later add another 1k. Or does it have to be one lump sum. Can i top it up slowly or a little each month? Say a few hundred a month? Are there downfalls to this? Rather than putting in a lump sum? The reason i dont want to put a huge lump sum in straight away is because I’m not sure how much i will need in the next year i may need to take some out of it. 2. It says i can only pull out 3 times before the interest goes down. Is that per year or forever? 3. Any other basics? I should know? Is this better than a regular savinggs account.
- Is it worth putting in even just 1k or is it for bigger savings. I have about 2or 3k i would be happy to lock away. I have more saved but think i may want to access it soon as i am going to travel a bit.

Hey there CD collectors 👋
Few questions for you, I'd really appreciate your help on the below scenario & what you think is the best option for my CD collection. I'm torn, emotionally & financially. I really want don't think CDs will be in high demand in the future. If CDs were to have a comeback, if not now when the 1990s are becoming trendy, then when?
I have 200 plus CDs. They were predominantly bought in the 1990's & 2000s, when I was a teenager & at university. It's an eclectic mix of albums, from Nirvana, Pearl Jam & Offspring to Cat Stevens, Chicago & Garth Brooks. Throw in Andrew Lloyd Webber soundtracks, Beethoven & Mozart symphonies with a touch of Triple J's Hottest 100 & the irresistible 'Best of...' compilations beside the great artist, Michael Jackson.
Question is, should I keep them or pass them on to another collector?
I also have a 50 CD stacker surround sound system that includes a double tape deck. If the CDs go, the 50 stacker goes too. I bought it in the late 1990s for $1200, 5 speakers for surround sound with built-in sub-woofers too. It was a great system when I bought it.
How in the world do I price the individual CDs though? Are some albums more expensive than others? Where do I find that information? Is it worth my efforts? Should I sell the CDs all together, as one offer?
But, there's something about having the albums in official hard copy. There's not a great deal of things that we can still appreciate in hard copy. Also, the CDs were purchased legitimately, back when we like to believe artists received the agreed royalties & were supported by their studio's.
I'm struggling to part with the CDs, to be honest.
What are your thoughts on whether CDs will increase in demand & price, over the next 5-10 years?
What would you be likely to do?
