I've just finished S4. There have been several instances so far where Jane seems to ignore some important leads.
For example, Red John (or one of his minions) tailed that FBI agent for hours, based on the video sent in S4. Surely some of those locations had security footage, but Jane never reached out to find it, instead choosing to do a big coverup instead.
In S4E23 the girl who possibly saw Red John - Jane claims he hypnotized her to forget Red John because he kills those who can ID him. But how is Red John supposed to believe the girl just forgot about him completely? The girl could have worked with a sketch artist. If Jane is really that good at hypnosis he could help the girl remember more details for the sketch.
Other small incidents also seem to have the same thing happen.
I don't want any spoilers or anything like that. Just wondering if anyone feels the same way. It's not like I think Jane is secretly working for Red John, but maybe he really is too close to the case.

I'm quite sure that I'm not the only one encountering this issue. I have seen several posts regarding to the same problem. Whenever I rebooted my NAS, the Docker Engine and containers won't start. I would have to manually switching them off and on through the App Central. I wish staffs from Asustor would read this and provide a proper solution.

Hi, I’m currently a second year undergraduate psych student trying to get enough experience to ideally get an AP role after graduation, realistically a mental health support worker role. Here’s what I’ve done so far, I’m mostly wondering if there’s anything I’m missing or anything else I should look out for? Also worth mentioning I’m international so I’m at a disadvantage 🥲
First year:
- I didn’t do that much during the academic year, I only did some informal classes of my native language for my university
- during the summer I got a full time Human Resources internship and a part time clinical research internship (3-4 hours per week)
- I just started out as a support worker, hoping to continue over the summer as well
- I work at my unis well-being department although it’s mostly well-being promotion
- I volunteer joining leisure activities with people with learning disabilities
- my summer will be pretty free so I would love some recommendations on what to do!
- I’ve got a research placement abroad, hoping to do some volunteering as well but I have to check my visa conditions
- I’m hoping to continue as a support worker and potentially secure an honorary AP role
