Hi everyone,
So long story short, been a collector of old consoles for over 10 years, and there's one thing that I always wanted, but never got - arcade(s).
Obviously living in small apartments my wife would kill me, and I also cannot justify having an arcade cabinet.
1) When I first noticed Arcade1up, I got interested because it seemed to be smaller and sleeker, but it's still no go size-wise
2) My requirement is relatively normal sized 2 player arcade stick, and screen (ideally crt, but lcd will do) running some arcade games - however, I'd like for this to be a complete package. So options such as buying an arcade stick seperately or Capcom Home Arcade and connect it via HDMI to my own screen are out
3) Finally recently, I noticed Evercade Bartop Cabinet, and it sparked some interest, and I'm eager to buy one to finally emulate this experience.
My main concerns are about the user experience and the software library. I’m a big fan of classic CPS1 and CPS2 beat 'em ups, as well as Midway’s Mortal Kombat series, and I’d love something that focuses on those types of games. So before I pull the trigger with Evercade, I wanted to ask: is there another option that might better scratch this itch? Or is the Evercade my best bet in this form factor?
I'm not in a rush to make a decision, but the Evercade is definitely tempting! Let me know what you think.

So, after being very engaged during BG3's EA and story i am very excited for your next project. That got me thinking, hmm how can you make the next game even better? And my immediate thought is that it's the writing and options available that really helped BG3.
So, in the upcoming years - would larian be willing to do a writer's EA? Something like a monthly reddit quiz of questions for redditors to:
1) stay excited about the new game(s) 2) contribute unique responses out of context that the writers can read to help alleviate the burden. [I am assuming it must be hard to generate funny content all day everyday] 3) help develop certain themes based on the story

back in elementary school i was a bright student. all full marks, joyful, social, all of my teachers knew me. they all considered me a genius because of how easy was it for me to answer hard questions, even questions not from our books and having knowledge about many topics. that until middle school. when i became in 7th grade everything fell apart. my mental health, my ability to study, i had barely 2 friends too. my middle school and high school teachers hated me, one teacher would always shit talk about me in front of the whole class and try to embarrass me.
when i turned 18, i got myself diagnosed and turned out i have adhd and depression and the only reason i was a bright student in elementary school is because my parents never let me have hobbies or enjoy my childhood like other children so studying was my hyperfixation.
now im 19, in my first year in college, studying a major i love, the first semester is about to end in a month or so and my grades are all full marks or a little bit lower by a mark or two, my teachers know me and they adore me, my classmates respect me and ask for my help sometimes or just check their answers with me after the exam. i don't feel stupid like they all made me believe before. i don't get glares from my classmates. i enjoy studying now. i don't wake up with a heavy heart because i have to take classes.

I have never been very active on social media (No Facebook/Instagram , simply youtube and reddit) and always had trouble with interacting with people online. Offline , I had a great experience with friends , sadly due to my job I had to leave my country and since most of my friends get the time are working , added with the time difference we barely play games together. Hey guys, I kno there’s a lot I’m not going to cover in this as I’m laying in bed with an empty stomach feeling.
I haven’t seen a stool since Friday. I was diagnosed from a CT scan in the ER on Saturday night.
Sometimes I feel like it’s colon cancer, but then again they said I need a colonoscopy to be sure they’re not even sure it’s diverticulitis.
When should I expect the antibiotics to kick in and allow me to start excreting stools?!? Does anyone have an idea?
I woke up 3x last night to go #1. But never have had the urge to go. I do expell gas, but no urge to go, help?
