Just to get it out of the way; No, I'm not saying Mississippi Burning is Disco Elysium: The Movie. Every so often a thread gets posted here asking for recommendations for other media similar to D.E. and that's what I'm doing here.
Based on a true crime story, Mississippi Burning takes place in 1964 after three civil rights workers are murdered and disappeared by white supremacists in rural Mississippi. Two FBI agents are sent to investigate, and the local police department greet them with everything from simple standoffishness to open hostility. Being FBI agents, they are able to bring in more resources unlike Harry and Kim, but the technological limitations of the time did leave them more or less on their own in some situations.
Gene Hackman and Willem Dafoe play Anderson and Ward, respectively, and their relationship has some similarities to Harry and Kim's while still being it's own thing. Anderson is like if Harry had never gone off the deep end, but still had a bit of a boorish and boisterous side to him. Like Harry, Anderson is really good at interviewing people and getting them to reveal information, although Anderson isn't attending any secret Commuist meetings. Dafoe's Ward has the same soft-spokenness and laser-focus on procedure as Kim, but Ward is much more idealistic. He really is trying to make the world a better place, while Kim has a much more realistic view of what he is individually capable of even as a police officer.
Like I said, it isn't a perfect 1:1 comparison but if you're interested in another story about two investigators getting to the bottom of a mystery in a community that doesn't respect their presence, you can stream this for free on Tubi. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Hello! My partner and I are mid-late 20s, and we wanted to do our first vacation together. Ideally, we want to try to travel out of the country (we live in Florida.) I've been trying to look at overseas flights for the summer or in March, but all of them are 2K per person with economy. I wanted to see if there were any flights that were cheaper to place that were cheaper in general and wouldn't cost 5k per person for the entire trip?
We love to do just about anything. We are okay with doing activities, going swimming, sight seeing, going to museums, learning about different cultures and trying different food. We are open to anything. If possible, I would like flights to be less than 1800 for both of us, ideally lower than 900 per person, but I don't know how feasible that is. I've found airlines that are super cheap in the US going to different US cities, but I want to try to go out of the country of possible.

Hi Colts fans, I have a question I have been unable to find the answer to elsewhere on the internet so I am hoping maybe someone remembers. In 2005, the Colts (I still believe that was Peyton Manning's best team, btw) locked up the top seed with two weeks left, sitting at 13-1. I know this because Jim Sorgi played most of the last two games. Indy split those two games to finish 14-2, one game ahead of Denver. The problem is that with two games left, Denver was 11-3, meaning had things gone a certain way both horse teams would have been 13-3.
Now, here's where my question comes in. NFL tiebreakers use head-to-head and then divisional record. Both of those are not applicable in a scenario involving the Colts and Broncos. Next comes record against common opponents. Had Denver won its last two games (as it did) while the Indianapolis lost its last two games, the Broncos would have been 5-0 against common opponents while the Colts would have been 4-1. Thus, Denver was seemingly still alive for the top seed in Week 16. However, I know they were not because, as mentioned, Manning did not play most of the last two games.
Does anyone know what's going on here, by chance? The only thing I can think of is that the NFL changed the tiebreaking procedures, so the actual tiebreaker that would have come into play here is record vs conference opponents, which would have gone Indy's way. But I can't find anything online saying that is the case. Am I missing something?
