It definitely helps and it makes me happy that I understood that and that is why I was confused. This is "instructions to follow that are written on a paper and a secret agent hands over to a new innocent man who is going to do a job". It is a funny comedy. I think Ill go with it's in the paper (meaning in the set of instructions). Hello everybody! I have a question concerning a dialogue in a US sitcom for kids in which one of the heroes tries to seduce a teacher. He tells her in a tone full of innuendoes : "I just wanted you to know that after class, I was hoping to clap your erasers". The teacher seems to express... This is comedy. It is definitely not intended to be taken literally, and the whole point is that there’s no connection between string and a paper bag, any more than there’s a kaiser. What that person over eighty is described as doing is meant to be completely illogical, since Allen’s aim is to encapsulate the stereotype of madness in old age. The English terms naughty and silly sod are very BE as well. The Python crew could expect their audience to recognize the Latinate jokes from their own schooling as well as Latin being the language of the Roman characters. I would not expect a comedy troupe in 2020 to play with Latin this way. The Python crew were all well educated. (Currently, I really admire the way Jordan Peele, of the comedy team Key & Peele, does President Obama; he's really captured Obama's voice and style of delivery. I've no reason to suppose that they've ever met, let alone engaged in a sexual relationship.) I know it means "don't move". But according to the Longman Dictionary's definition, "still" it seems that it is mostly used about people. In old American comedy films (1910? 1920?) a piano dropped on a person. In cartoons, it may be a piano or an anvil. Both are quite heavy, and seem to fall from a height amazingly often! Even more suprising, the character it lands on is never killed. Wile E. Coyote (wily coyote) always has things fall on him.

2025.01.20 14:40 Independent-Pear-873 Pregnant f(26). Confused as to what my UTI results mean.
The doctor didn’t really explain well what my results mean, or if I should take antibiotics. He prescribed them but told me to stop if the culture came back negative. I don’t really understand the results and don’t know how to move toward. The doctors office is currently closed. When I took the UTI test I had some slight burning when I peed, but it seems like it has improved without the antibiotics (I have not started them)

I recently started up a new game as Cape Colony. It is now late 1860s and I still haven't managed to break free from Great Britain. The only ones I can convince to support my independence are the Spaniards, and we get a good, proper trashing whenever I try to break free.
I also cannot break free when the mother country is preoccupied in other wars, as the Brits always drag me into every little conflict they start.

Mi hermano tiene 18 años y ingreso a una empresa en la cual firmo un contrato de 3 meses , pero se la han pasado molestandolo los Desarrolladores mas expertos (son de sistemas) que no es buen elemento etc , El tema es que su Jefe directo ya le solicito que por su falta de experiencia lo daran de baja con apenas 1 mes y medio cumplido , en esos casos se tendria que respetar su permanencia hasta los 3 meses o en dado caso que ellos lo soliciten tendrian que pagarle lo correspondiente a los 3 meses ?

Context: Hi I'm not someone who usually posts here, so bear with me sa kwento ko. I just needed to share this since eto yun problem kong dala dala buong taon ng 2024 kase wala akong masabihan, my friends left me nun iniwan ko ex ko and takot na ako magshare ng personal lives ko sa mga kakilala ko.
Same time last year I broke up with my ex, I cheated yes. Am I proud? F no. So bakit nga ba? ano nangyare? so here's the thing, 2 yrs kami nun ex kona yun I have some deal breakers during our relationship. I was toxic yes, then I met this girl at work, nun una hindi nya nakukuha yun atensyon ko since mahal ko talaga yun ex ko that time, however isang buong buwan nagkakasama kami gawa ng group of friends, then nakilala ko sya na ang pure ng ugali nya.
So I started mang landi and it was reciprocated naman din. SO AYUN NA NGA! I asked myself, may GF ako that time, there were no bounderies sa pagiging pagkalandi ko, so I decided makipag break sa current partner ko that time kasi diba? if I truly love her, hindi ako aabot sa ganon way kung mahal ko talaga sya.
The night I broke up with her? sobrang devastating, ganon pala no? pag iiwan mo yun mahal mo, kasi alam mong mali kana para sa kanya, pero tangina ayaw mong gawin kasi hindi mo kaya pero kailangan mong panindigan yun mga kagaguhan mo and she does not deserve yun ginawa ko.
Whole day kaming magkasama from 10am in the morning til 10pm. Nun una palang sakay nya sa car, sinabi nya na sakin "bakit parang feeling ko makikipag hiwalay ka?" I did not answer and kept on driving lang, then after lunch sinabi kona na makikipag hiwalay ako, she was shock dun sa sinabi ko na hindi makapag salita. So we talked til 8pm kung ano ba nangyari pero hindi ko inamin na nagkaron ako ng feelings sa isang employee sa work, tinago ko.
The last hours na otw kami sa bahay nila kasi ihahatid ko sya. Tears fell from my eyes, habang paiksi ng paiksi and distansya namin sa bahay nila, pa konti din ng pa konti ang oras na kasama ko sya. I hold her hands so tight kasi I don't want to let go, I love her so bad. She cried kept on asking me kung ano reason, bakit ba kami umabot sa ganto? hindi ko sinagot kasi alam kong tangina hindi ko alam kung mapapatawad nya ba ako sa nagawa ko. That night was also the night na pinagbuksan ako ng daddy nya ng pinto at pinasok sa bahay nila (she was the panganay and only girl sa 4 na magkakapatid so treassured talaga sya) nagpaalam ko sa lola nya since close kami, I left the house nila at sinabi ko sa parents nya this will be the last time na makikita nila ako don.
Habang nasa labas, sumunod yun ex ko to say our last farewell to each other, we cried. She went inside of the gates looking at me habang paalis, then her mom went out to talk to me and asked "Hindi na ba maayos to?" I cried in front of her mom saying sorry tita hindi na po (di ko binigay yun reason kung bakit) umalis na ako sakay ng sasakyan, and putangina my whole body tells me to step on the break pads, and go back. Gustong gusto kong iwan nun ang sasakyan at bumalik sa kanila, pero hindi ko ginawa.
Now, almost a year na kami nun current ko, and ang hirap nun dala dala ko simula nun una hanggang ngayon. Mahal ko sya yes, however meron part sakin na never left kahit nakipag hiwalay ako sa ex ko. I know to myself na hindi ko maibigay yun lahat ko sa partner ko ngayon, kasi buo pa rin yun feeling ko sa ex ko. Yep apaka F up right? Kahit anong gawin namin dalawa (exclusive where you are in a relationship) it feels like I'm cheating on my ex, tangina hindi ko alam kung bakit ngiti nya yun hanap ko, amoy nya, mga titig nya, and yun boses nya. Akala ko nun una kaya ko, na kaya kong iwan yun taong mahal ko kasi nagkamali ako, pero hindi pala.
So ngayon, I message her account using a dummy account, kinausap nya ako, after 10 mos grabe kahit letra lang yun binabasa ko naiimagine ko kung pano nya sinasabi, yun simpleng kamustahan, how she responded dun pagsosorry ko kasi I cheated and the way she talks to me I know na kaya pa. The problem is I have someone currently.
So she shared the screenshots of our convo sa friends nya na sinend partner ko now, and I admitted na ako yun. However, she does not want to let go, sinabi kona mahal ko pa ang ex ko, and I need time para sa sarili ko to move on, kasi ayaw kona pumasok sa relationship ng hindi pa tapos sa nakaraan. She said hindi nya kaya, we got in a fight where lahat ng inis nailabas namin, sigawan and everything. I need an advice ngayon kung pano makipag hiwalay, this is a first time na umamin na mahal ko pa ang ex ko at hindi makaalis sa current relationship kasi she is mentally, and emotionally unstable, and ayaw kona man may dalhin na konsensya if anything happens.
I know friends and family ng ex ko is sobrang negative ako sa kanila kasi eventually nalaman nila kung ano ang ginawa ko, and now wala akong pekalam kung may babalikan pa ba ako or wala, tatangapin ko lahat ng sasabihin nila sakin. All I know is I have to do this, kung hindi na ako mahal then I will let this feelings for her rest, pero ayaw kona magmahal ng iba kung hindi rin sya.
